Hello,

It was 12 days since i gave the girls some Fish and Kelp ( NPK - 10 : 2.5 : 2.5). The other waterings up to now, a bit of molasses, insectical soap. Since they are flower, maybe use the Canna Bio Flores i have N 3 P 1 and K 6? or i can use the Fish and Kelp again, if the Canna N3 is low

I am suspecting N defiency, the soil should be good as its has volcanic rock minerals in it, and I dont think they would be depleted over time.

Or it could just be due to LST, the girls are putting energy into flower

Thanks Smokey

Thanks Shrederr mate ! I took off the stocking skirt that i use for gnats and a rather large number flew off, some died at the hands of me. I wonder if the BTi on ebay is working, maybe its gnat related, either way i gave her some gogo juice (N1) and Canna Flores N3, and some coconut water diluted, see how she goes in the next few days

Hey Smokey! :pass:
..she looks pale all over mate, basically underfeed longer term in appearance,... N is part of it, but P and possibly S, micro's are lacking too... kelp should be good for the latter, epsoms for S, and you feeds have plenty of N... PK needs boosting along with n though, the P-K #'s need to be higher than the N, all things added up...
What's the weather like, possib;e bad VPD happening? Gnats could be a factor, but then, keep in mind outside you have an endless source, you will always have them around (adults).. it's the larvae in the pots that are the problem, adults are just flying gonads, don't really eat... what's the BTi dosing been like?

Hey Waira :pass:
Thanks mate ! She is palish. Maybe i went the other way this time, than over feeding. The Organics ferts seem low n P and K. I have Power Feed, not sure if 100% organic though Its N is higher than P and K 9.5N 1.6P and K 7.5

Its pretty warm the days 30c and 28c nights cooler above 10c . Whats VPD mate? I use the BTI every second or 3rd water. Mornings have been t shirt weather.

I dont want ot use the chemical canna 13/14 on the soil.

I have organic kelp and neem meal

kelp NPK 1 - 0.1 - 2
neem NPK 4 1 2
canna flores 3 1 6
got black strap molasses and coconut water also

maybe a mix of kelp and canna would make the ration 4 1 8, still P low.

I think I should have gone bioblizz biobloom NPK on bottle 2 7 4. Might have to get it online, store locally has only Canna, Monster Bud , Bio Disel etc

Slow release P on the harward but is 2-3 month, so not a good option maybe for the photo period though

:face: I laaaaaaggg,... my bad Smokey!

...yes, get what nutes you can going ASAP mate, even the PK 13/14... a little non-organic isn't going to queer anything about the plant,... I use a blend of them, organic mainly in bloom, but if they need a boost, fast, a couple light hits of synthetic works wonders!
VPD= vapor pressure deficit... There's a great article and video on this in Reference mate, check it out,.. basically, this relates how T and RH% affect transpiration rates, and what the optimal range is for each growing stage... transpiration moves both water out the leaves and nutrients from below; if transpiration slows a lot or stops, so do the nutes flowing as well! Very low RH% makes the stomata close, shutting down that highway as well as cutting off CO2 uptake for photosynthesis... very high RH% also screws with evaporation too, as well you know down there, slowing transpiration...

@Waira Hi mate ! I last water was on Saturday and i gave the girls - 2 tsp molasis 50ml coconut water and bio bloom NPK 2 7 4. That's good that PK13/14 can be given in small amounts with out ill effect on the soil.

Thanks mate will look up VPD, both GreenBandit and I have been through some mid to high temperatures 30c. Humidty is low due to drought around 44% or so. Its a bad thing for the plants.

Leaves have burning on tips and a bit of curl ( might be heat related) noticed the green leaf veins, and wonder if is Magnesium or something as well as Sulpur, i think i needed to give them some epson salt laster water as well

manganese def or not.jpg

also note the curl ***

Week 9,

also Puprle Punch she has seed in her bud, i am thinking enivronmental stress maybe

:smoker1: pardon Smokey, I needed a break,....

-- 44%RH isn't bad at all mate, when you get below around 35% thing get far more touchy,....
-- green veins happen with a few different defc.'s, and not always either... Tip burn is so generic it's hardly diagnostic without other info to pin down likely causes,... Curls/distortion could also be several things,....
-- S is immobile, so defc. start son tops first and worst, but can yellow out the entire plant,..necrosis doesn't happen until well advanced, and at that point other defc's are kicking in usually,...
-- how seeded is she mate? ... fem' seed is known to show a general tendency to toss nanners more readily than reg's,.. stress, strain/genetics play a big role as well,

:d5:Hiya Waira mate that is fine i go MIA at time:smoking:

I was looking at the green veins and thinking Mg def, but, since the last dose of Canna Flroes 3 1 6 1 ( the 1 being Sulphur) plus epsom salts, she seem better now and cloudy trich some amber, over before haha last photo day for the competition

I thinned out the yellow leaves, but the good is she is better now in being greener. Dry today here 29%, not the best for the new girls (3 weeks old- or was it 4) i forget without looking:haha:

They are all feminsed auto seeds. I think i must have stressed my Purple Punch also, she got some seed in her bud but is mostly amber milk now, will not last much longer

Hot day the next 2 days tomorrow so the girls will not like it, the weather cant be changed.

:pass:thanks again mate for the help

here is Gorilla now, Big Bud a little less green but improvement

gorillagreenyay.jpg

 doing better indeed!
... I get some "mystery seeds" on occasion too outside,... the PAK had a few on a lower branch this year=- never saw nanners, no other plants either.... chalk it up to Mother Nature doing her work-around gig, she is famous for this on so many things!
