Just stepped out of the snow to say HEY! to you all and to introduce myself. :cough:
I found the site, joined, and was pleasantly surprised to have my questions answered almost immediately. What a great group of folk here on this site! :thumbs:
I'm Alaskan1, and yes, I'm looking outside my window at many feet of snow, and a lil' blizzard blowing outside my kitchen window...and spring started last week. Downstairs, I've got my 4X5 foot grow tent with 3 90W UFOs going, along with 5 lowryder 2 plants, each 2 weeks old, and one 3 week old plant of the same variety. The three week old is short and busy, having more leaves than I can count. Unreal. The other 5 plants, only a week behind, have only 4 small leaves, but should grow heavily this week. I grow in Sunshine Mix 1 soil, one to three gallon plastic pots, and keep the tent about 76 to 79 degrees, using 2 seedling mats to add a touch of heat that would otherwise be lacking. I water with home-distilled water that I shake to oxygenate, and use at about 68 degrees. This is only me second grow of weed, but have never used a nute. The soil seems to keep the plants happy for their short lives. I garden for fun in our short summers, in the yard and in my green house. I've been gardening for over 25 years. I don't grow my lowryder 2 outside, as Alaskan law allows you to grow 25 plants in your house without it being a crime. You can have an ounce of dried herb in the house, no crime. Outside the home is a crime.
I need to start a grow journal and show off my grow set up. Who can direct me to a thread or provide the info that shows me how to upload pics and the best place to post my journal? I've looked around the site, which is impressively large and complex, and couldn't figure it out. Maybe my mind is still frozen from this winter wonderland, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Still, how lucky we are compared to so many growers in most states, huh?
AFN is the best spot for all your auto information, lots of luck with your growing:smokebuds:. Maybe one day, my state will allow me to have just one plant
