Grow Mediums AKsteel's First DWC, Mephisto Mystery Seed

Yeah the more and more I see about folks using the pH perfect line I think for DWC growers it is a must. I will be using AN on my next round o monsters!
When they came out with PH perfect it was a game changer....

Yeah I just found out about it midway through my last AutoX grow and had already blown through my budget but I will be using them from now on because that is by far the hardest thing about DWC is keeping that damn pH stable lol and if they have taken that part out of it I will have nothing to get in my way of monsters!

That's why they came up with RDWC. A bigger res is easier to maintain.

Its finding the balance.... Cause that shit is expensive.... That's what turned me away from the method in the end. But once you get it dialed its great. Especially if your only doing a few plants.

Damn you have a monster. DWC is so amazing lol. I am curious why you worry about your ph so much while using ph perfect nutes though. You shouldn't even have to check your ph. Should be set it and forget it haha.
@Anasazi. The first part of this thread was my very first attempt at DWC and I had crazy ph issues due to using tap water. Even with the ph perfect nutes I had crazy ph fluctuations. Like from 5.5 to 6.8+ in a twelve hour period. That attempt failed do to a brown slime issue.
The current plant you see now is the result of learning from my mistakes. I am using R/O water and even though I don't think AN ph perfect nutes were the cause of my failed attempt. I decided to go with a much simpler nutrient line up and schedule using Mills brand nutrients. That is why I monitor my ph so closely and I would still monitor using AN nutrients because in my experience the science is not perfect. To many variables are in play.
Thanks for checking out my thread. I hope you stick around and see how she finishes, and I hope I was able to answer your question. :cools:

Rifleman was using it for his beast DWC grow too. He never checks the PH and he grows tree's. I bought ph perfect for sole reason of being lazy lol. It doesn't matter what the ph is, nutes are chelated so they get absorbed by the plant no matter what the ph says. I can't wait for you to finally get started on the next journal. ;D

What products exactly are used in that line. Cause maybe when I'm running low on gh I'll try them
