New Grower AK48 Growers

I am growing an ak48 in a grow tent with a 400w HPS. I am up to day 44 and although this is the second week into flowering she is growing really really really slow and would say that she won't be ready for another month the minimum.

She is on full strength bloom nutes plus monsta bud atm and she is looking as healthy and tall (65cm last check) as they come with no signs of nute burn at all.

Have any of you ak48 growers experienced 10-12 weeks till harvest? I came across someone who had to wait nearly 13 weeks to harvest an AK48.

Why does the AK48 grow so slowly for an auto? My previous plants were green-o-matic and paki ryder and both were ready by day 60..well the green-o-matic was with the paki a few days later. Creamy/amber trics and all.

Shouldn't the breeders of AK48 finally admit that its 90 day from seed plant and not like a normal auto?

Ihave never had an auto finish on the time they say.My c caramel came pretty close about ten days later.I think the days they give are average and under optimum conditions and differs from all growers.

Hey i've got a Sagarmatha AK48 at Day 30, Is growing the slowest out of any of my plants,
Keep in mind i have to grow 12/12, and this is my second

I did read the grow time and it says 8-10 weeks but at the rate this one is going more.

Just wanting to ask anyones opinion about my AK48. This is the entry I put in my journal app for today:

Day sprouted 25/4/12

Days from seed: 46 (week 6)

Days veg: 32 4.4 weeks

Days flowering: 13 (week 3)

Height: 65 cm
Water: 2 litre 15ml proganics bloom + monsta bud 12ml + 1 table spoon of molasses
ppm: 1700
ph: 6.1
lights: 400w HPS + 2x 48w CFL warm

Ok now 46 days and the buds are slowing forming but there is no strong smell at all and the flowers like too skinny and kinda like shitty bush bud I grew years ago. Would this be the sativa dominant? Here are some pics:









The research I did on this strain suggested that there would be an intense smell by week 5 and by 6 buds should have formed nicely. The last week it's been a really slow grow for an auto. I started her on flowering nutes last weekend and upped it to full bloom mid week.

Is it that she's just a slow grower? Would it be temps? I am feeding here the same nutes as I have in my other grows but this time I am growing under 400hps and also have a ppm and ph digital meter.

Any feedback would be welcomed.

I grew Nirvana short rider, Sarg Ak 48, and Nirvana Jock H auto. Started all at the same time. The short rider was done at 68-73 days. The Jock and Ak48 went 80-85 days. At first I was thinking I should have stuck with all short rider but the last couple of weeks growing out the Jock and Ak was pure happiness. It really fattened up (buds) those last few days. So be patient and it should be fine if the nutes and ph are right. Used soil, worm castings, and espoma plant tone. Averaged 1 dried oz per plant with nothing but sun light.
