Problem: Young leaves malformation (wrinkled) and first real leaves with holes in the edges, a malformation in the base of the leaf and some mottling. Growing slowly and leggy.

Medium/grow method: Soilless (65% Sphagnum peat + 25% perlite + 10% coco coir) without any previous nutes. 11L pot (2.41 gallon)

Feed and supplements used: None by now. Watered only once until runoff.

water source: Tap water (didn't check pH)

Strain/age: Nirvana Auto AK48 / 5 days seedling

Light used: LED (full spectrum) panel equivalent 1000w
Light cycle: 20/4
Light distance: 90cm (35inches)

Climate: Humidity: 70% Temp: 27ºC / 80.6ºF

Structure: Indoor. Tent 80cm x 80cm x 180cm (31inch x 31 inch x 71inch)

Additional info: I have 3 seedlings. 2x Double Cookies XXL Auto from BSF Seeds and 1x AK48 Auto from Nirvana Seeds in 11L pots. Planning to use Tang's Easy feed schedule. Waiting for the 10th day to start feeding the plant with Sensi Blom A+B. Both Double Cookies are fine but AK48 looks very sensible.

I'm afraid that my LED panel is too much for the AK48 seedling.

I didn't feed them yet. Should I start feeding them? I was thinking in 1/8 of the nutes in the beginning.

Hard to see with that light try to get a white light photo so coloration can be seen as it looks like there may be something going on there as it looks to be on new growth. It may just be the lighting. Also light u say 1000watt equivalent every company claims something different for replacing 1000 watt hps. how many actual watts is it and is there a veg switch and flower switch.

Worry not. All seedling wrinkles I've had in the past (a lot), worked themselves out of that state. Happy growing.
Phew. This is good to know. I was thinking it was some nute deficiency since I didn't feed them at all till now or maybe the light is to bright for her and could be some real stress.

Thanks for the input AutoWonders. I appreciate it!

Mizzo81 I've just uploaded new photos without the pink light and using my phone's flash. The pic looks better now.

The weird part is that the first real leaves are very mottled and the edges have some holes like it was bitten but I've checked for bugs and didn't see any (the tent is clean and the room that it's sited is secure and clean as well). Oh and they got some malformation in the part of the leaf with the petiole.
The new leaves are wrinkling, with some mottling and I can't see the new ones. Seems to be stalling.

I was wondering if it's some Sativa's specificity due to its lean leaves because my Double Cookies (80% indica) are super healthy.

I have the feeling that it could be the strong light from the LED panel. I've sprouted all the seeds directly in the final pot and used this panel since the first real leaves. I've kept the light far away from them because I knew the light and the heat could be stressing them.

About this LED panel it's a "1000W" (but consumes 250W) it has 84.500 lumens (has red, orange, blue and white LEDs). It's not from a known/famous brand seems to be from China. But I've already used in a previous crop and nothing bad happened. Actually, it boosted the previous plants.

Hope the new photos and these info helps :)

Mizzo81 thank you for your attention mate. I appreciate it.

Coloring doesn’t look bad I thought it was gonna look worse. Could be the strain keep an eye on it don’t hit hard with nutes and don’t overwater lol.

With the better pics I’m gonna go with this too. Sativa can be a bit more sensitive but it can also just be strain related

What size containers r they in

:toke:- how far away are the lights? .... let's see how the next set develops, young leaves can distort easily for several reasons; that said, there's a fairly common mutation that causes wrinkled, brittle leaves...
