Now on the drying part. The room I am drying is at 80F @ 30-35% humidity. Is that good or what does it need to be roughly???

thats ok... lower temps preserve terpenes and flavors much better... 60-65 degress is ideal... but it takes significantly longer. 80 is fine... just be a little quick.. may be hard to balance dry vs internal water.... when the outsides dry too fast they tnd to hold more water internally longer... so just be careful to get a good dry before jarring.. un;less you're going to slow-cure

also.. when watering for flush... dont ignore the fact that you can overwater.. if you have to wai 2 or 3 days between flush waterings.. do it... dont OVER water! :) theres a difference. just wanted to make the distinction.

I was going to dry until the stems have a slight stap but still bend. Then jag until they stay around 40%... yes no????

I'd agree with TBM... 40% is low for smoke... it will smoke harsh that way.... burns too hot. about 65% is ideal for good smoke... am i right on that TBM?

BAHAHAHA :crying:

My RH 20-40% so I am lookin at 4-6 days like u. And so 65-70% jar is what I am looking for. Now I know where I need to go. Thanks m8........ Co.....huh I used to live in peblo

@ TBM, you got me really wanting to try these Boveda Packs. They sound awesome, from Cigar boards they can even be recharged sometimes with distilled water by placing in zip lock in warm area or sun without packet actually ever being submerged in the water. I guess you'd need a bit of ingenuity to put a piece of something to keep it out of the water:lol:.
I'm definitely gonna hollar at ya when my harvest time comes to see if I got my ducks in a row. +Rep for grabbing up his Q and helping.

@ Dusty, plus Karma all your bud drys just right and cures to perfection!

Thanks gb need all I can get!!!! And I just got a call from a long time friend from cali I haven't seen in 8yrs..... long story short he works on a farm and is coming back here to visit for 3weeks he'll be here 4-19 so I'll have a added hand just in time.
