Airy Buds?

So as my first harvest is about half way through its drying process i notice that non of them are dense and there airy (you can see through them).

Why?

what causes airy buds?

Had a PH issue (high)

Didn't use cal/mag in my ro water up until about 2-3 weeks ago. (had mild/moderate cal mag diffecency)

the lights you are using are 9 times out of ten are the cause but it could also just be the strain

The harvest is just the one plant so far.

I'm using a 1000w mh/hps

Yea i use 430 watt HPS and my first harvest were rock solid nugs. I know that having the humidifier in there helped out alot. Humidifier broke at the end of that grow and i decided to grow without it for my grow immediately after. Nugz were very airy. But humidity out here is always super low 10-20%

potassium supplements can help with density, too. I had a major potassium deficiency and got airy buds, and when I fixed the problem the buds on top got much denser. So, that'd be something to look into, as well.
