That's good to hear about moving to smartpots. I have grown with FD's soil using the party cup tiering method before but it's been a few years. It definitely takes a lot of the risk out of using a hot soil mix like FDs. As I recall the soil held water pretty well, and LEDs won't dry things out as quick as HID lights, so you will probably be OK watering every 3 days once the plant is a decent size. Early on you won't need to drench the whole pot every time you water, but as soon as you get them I'd fully water one and put it next to another full of dry soil. That will give you a good feel for how much lighter the pots get as they dry. :thumbs:

Checked in this morning and it's not looking good...



The one that was above soil looks dry and is curling up. Also looks a little brown on the tips.. I watered last night using some distilled water after not watering for 3 days
