Check out my grow journal dude.. I'm growing in a kinda similar cabinet I spent about $30 on some foam insulation board with a reflective film on one side and lined my entire cabinet and have absolutely 0 light escapes my box when closed up

How did you keep the light from leaking out by the hinges?

I have strips on the inside of the box that overlap the pieces I have cut out to place in the hole where the doors are... a bit easier for me in the middle where the door meet up because I have that thin board in the center to add the foam too..

Here are some better pics. Also if you end up doing something like this, what I learned is because I bought the cheapest board I could find it's the fluffy white foam stuff that breaks apart easy so what I did was went over all the exposed edges with clear packing tape to stop it from falling apart over time pulling them in and out and general wear from brushing stuff against the edges.. hope this helps

Thanks a lot man that helped all my problems I’m thinking of building a entertainment center / stealth box from floor to ceiling I’ve been thinking of it. Growing these things aren’t really accepted at all legally where I’m at but I can’t leave it alone for some reason I’m more obsessed with actually growing them than burning them. Idk what it is. After I get all the plans together I’ll run them by you and let you put in what you can to better it

Sorry I could have just offered an answer, I would go get some weather stripping. it will come either in a round tubing or square at the hardware store and you can just glue it to one side of your gaps so that you can still open and close box
