AFN Presents: DynoMyco Mycorrhizae Community Grow (Q3 2022)

Grow dots are suppose to release the plant food in stages or slow release, they make it sound easy but you have to prep the stuff from what i have seen on youtube, i'll stick to mega crop just because i have it and it works for me.

MC one part is so easy with pop22 500-550 total ppm feed at every watering with a few select organic methods during flower, make for a VERY easy grow and quite good canna.
At that light rate, MC really doesn't harm the microbes or worms.
Just a casual observation, I think Tattoochase has got caught up in buying and trying to use a large selection of products.

I really think he needs to step back and re-evaluate his grow methods. KISS is a very good grow method when first starting growing.
It's really easy to get caught up in buying a bunch of stuff and also trying to use it all.

When this grow is finished, I'm gathering all my media in the totes and from the pots on this grow, combining them all on a tarp, mix thoroughly and get a soil test. I'll amend accordingly and let that cook while the next grow will be a simple Roots Organic Original (with DynoMyco mixed in if I see good results) with limited inputs of Recharge weekly, one dose of lobster compost when the plant is tall enough without leaves touching it, one dose of Craft blend at about 6 weeks and FFJ and Blue Gold Flower for flower inputs. Water would be tap with humic added at 1/4 teaspoon per 5gal thru the whole grow.
I've not tested my used media and just amended based on various recommendations. I've never done that when I had my huge food garden outside. When I finally found a place that would give a test that actually showed results beyond the silly NPK results, wasn't too easy to find in the early 90's, my production went up.
Tattoochase
I'm not criticizing your methods. I just think ya need to step back and do some evaluation. Maybe a simple grow and concentrate on providing a great and stable environment based on the life cycle and let the plant do her thang. I think you might be amazed with the results.

From what i got from dude grows show. They are stage released and activated with water but temp controls the release. Lower the temp the slower. Higher the faster. I got two going with them now. The one is 26 days old and loving it. Just water and recharge for her so far but the real test is in flower.

I did the same thing when i was new, i found my style and ran with it but i still enjoy testing things out for comparing things.

I totally agree I got myself in to much... I seen how MOG grows and was thinking damn I want mine to look like that!!! So I just went with it.... I'll tell you this... Even when I'm done using his schedule... I'm on to kiss like you said... I'll find my ways of growing.... I'm thinking live sohum soil with added live worms... And chicken shit if needed in later flower... Or whatever it will need if shows signs of deficiency... Or super soil... Water only.... That's what I'm looking for... Maybe build a soil.... My local hydro store carries it all.... This mixing 20 things is a pain in the ass along with a job I work 45-50 hours a week... But that's what I do... I like to stay busy..... I'll get and I appreciate your advice..... No worries your right... I just started no reason to dive in head first.... I'll lay on back after this one... That's a fact.... I got my environment perfect.... Everything I need... Now all I need is to figure out how to feed the little shits!!!! Lol..... I got this.... I always figure it out one way or another!!!! Good day bud..... Hope that back is ok... I took your advice and did me some crunches this morning...... Get my core back right.... Thank you...

Copy him 100% if he uses rockwool blocks you gotta use them as it is hard to use what he feeds in a SIP system and have the same results

Gave it some food and its starting to green up already. And i didnt over water it. Yay me :woohoo1:

I guess this plant qualifies as an entry for this g&s since I did use dynomyco. Still haven’t fed her. She’s been in this bag for 3 weeks now I think. Growing like crazy and I need her to stay smallish. I’ve topped her several times and yesterday had to take 3-4 nodes off the 4 mains. She’s still chugging right along and will definitely end up bigger than I had planned. She’s growing a little lopsided because her branches follow the sun across the northern sky here. Been having to turn her everyday and she just leans to the opposite side lol. Been interesting with this one.

Week 4 Day 28 from seed

Week 4 of my Red Gorilla Girl XL I directed planted into promix and Dynomyco mixed around the seed and all in the promix. She caught up to red poison who is 3 days older and was planted in just promix, i feed them both the same as my other 4 week old plants but red gorilla girl xl got tip burn while everyone else was okay with it, it seems minor so I'll dilute her future feeding down a little more. Even with minor tip burn she shows more growth than red poison and seems very healthy. Maybe next week i will have a pregnant red gorilla girl :eyebrows: See you all next week.
