I lower temperature during lights out and the cold seems to make them turn and change more cloudy and amber. If that dosent work i throw them in complete darkness for 4 or 5 days as a last resort. Some strains are just stubern. I couldent get amber trichs for a long time. I was lucky when I got cloudy ones but I threw a couple of my autos outdoors to grow from lack of indoor space and the ones from outdoors where very milky and almost half where amber so I tried to simulate late fall conditions indoors and it worked. O and I also lower my humidity to around 30% as well.

To see them I bought the mini handheld microscope from amazon with 50x - 90x magnification and that thing is the best thing ive ever used for looking at the trichs. Think it was 15 bucks. Well worth it.

Definitely dropping temps probably best. Darkness or other stress may help. I like to start pulling off leaves at the end to hopefully get some more resin going

I pluck leaves at the end also but sometimes I take to much and the plant and it does the opposite. It stops growing and maturing and even stop drinking water. And it stays in that state for a long time. But done right it really helps. I give me plant a haircut first week of flowering and sometimes it stimulates rapid growth.

My girls were almost completly stop taking water, seems like they were stuck in time (I didn't mess with them) but Still I couldn't get more than 10% Amber,So I just harvest them..
