This thread is for the discussion of Autoflower.org trophies and badges!

What's the difference?​

Trophies - awards meant to be given generally for more competition related events and contests.

- Awarded less frequently than Badges.

Badges - awards meant to be given generally more for completing milestones, activities, and other relatively obtainable-by-anyone types of things.

- Awarded more frequently than Trophies.

Trophies and Badges are purely cosmetic and for showing off your awards, accolades, or otherwise just fun stuff you've achieved while browsing the forum!

There's a "gamification" to trophies and badges, much like you'd see a progression on video games or roleplaying games, where reaching a certain task or milestone grants you an award, which sets the next award (and badge or trophy) to a higher level to achieve.

We had a system setup in the past with badges and trophies, but over the recent years with upgrades and add-on's changing (and sometimes not be developed or supported anymore,) many of them went to the wayside.

Well, no longer!

Dutch Passion

How about exploring a new badge AND new benefits resulting from that badge

Really, it's a new tier of financial support for the forum.

Maybe a set different levels of annual forum Contributions with benefits to those contributors.
