9 weeks later and here is most of the first girl, chopped , trimmed and now drying...
also pictured it what remains on her just letting the lower buds go for longer.
i smoked the dried buds i had and is easily up there with the highest quality photo plants available to us, shared one with the boys at work and we stunk the whole place out with a half a skin jingo :smoke: was a sloow friday afternoon indeed.
i flushed the bigger plant with lower PH'd water yesterday, she is struggling along slowly, will be gutted if she dosnt finish well as she has a decent amount of herbs!
the flower are still forming tho..
also the easyryder at around a week , with the la diva a few days old enjoying a much better soil :dance:

First AKR gave me 25g of the stinkiest, skunkiest dankness i think i'v ever smoked!
very much recommend this strain, especially those with sleep problems as it is knockout, well i picked this one a good week later with maybe 40% amber chomes.
Just lobbed the head off the big girl 1 oz wet on the spot, after i flushed her i gave a feed of baby bio and some epsom salts and she has recovered and the rest of her is on the verge of being ready. nice chunky dense buds all over this one, hoping for 1.5 - 2.0 oz. lower percentage of amber triches on her at the moment around 20% so i will see how the head smokes to determine when to cut the rest.
Easyryder and la diva are coming on very nice, lovely and green, fed no nutes as the soil is pretty strong and some smaller leaves are even curling due to the strength of it.
La diva is a few days behind , she is short and filling out a nice bush. around 2 weeks old.
Easyryder is about 2.4 weeks, pistils now showing and she has a nice structure to her.
Have been feeding everything with 1tsp per litre of water of vinegar to help the PH down. I have PH meters coming on monday!

I grew Afghan Kush Ryder in my bubbly pool and was not very impressed with it. The problem was it was very slow and didn't grow well. Yes it grew with about ten other types and the problem only showed in AKR. The biggest thing abut it was it didn't show good root groth and I think that is what kept the AKR from performing well in early groth.
I did eventually grow it out and get some bud but it was not plentiful. What was there was good taste and good growth.
Maybe you should grow this baby in a pot. It is not on my list of hydro, bubbly tank types that I will ever grow again in hydro.

Just saying I didn't have good luck with it in bubbly hydro type of grow compared to other types. If I grew it inside again I would not grow it in hydro but would try it in a 3 gallon pot with pro mix. I hope this is clearer.
