Hey guys ive been under the impression if your going to use advanced nutrients for the ph perfect technology to work the starting ppm of my water should be 125-150.
Well i emailed advanced nutrients to see if it had to be exactly between 125-150 ppm and this is what they claim...
Me: I keep being told in order for advanced nutrients ph perfect technology to work my water has to have 125-150 ppm before i add any nutrients..is this true? Does the ppm have to be between 125-150 for the ph perfect technology to work properly? Thanks for the help.
Advanced Nutrients support: Not True. The ph perfect is actually best designed to work best in a water with 0ppm, such as reverse osmosis. Which is what we recommend if at all possible. If you have tapwater or filtered water, it should also be fine, but the general rule of thumb would be that a lower ppm is always going to more reliable/consistent.
Im just trying to determine what water i should use if i got AN, so has anyone used AN with water with 0ppm with success?
Also in theory is it really possible for the ph perfect to work best in water with 0 ppm? i would think that SOME ppm is necessary for it to automatically become 6.5 itself..or does that have nothing to do with ppm? thanks for any help.
