Live Stoner Chat advanced nutrient questions

Fweedom great choice of nutes, I personally use the cute looking dog bottles, with sensi a&b grow. For additives I took the easy mans route that required no thinking and just brought the complete line up of their Heavy Yield system. I would say from the lot the most important I would get would be, b-52, bud candy, voodoo juice, rhino skin, and bud factor x. If you want to start off easy and simple just get the base nutes and than the hobby bundle....
I would also HIGHLY recommend take a look over at Tangs feeding regimine(he uses AN as well) and his results speak for themselves... His recipe is PROVEN! Time and time again..... So the hobby bundle or tangs feeds schedule and you'll be good to go! Sometimes, I feel like I'm cheating using AN nutes..... They truly are plug and play nutes.... I haven't used my PH meter since changing over to AN.

Edit: here is the link to tangs thread

I use a full line up of Advanced Nutrients.

To clear stuff up Nutrients are sold in two forms generally. A A + B scheme like Sensi Grow A + B, Bloom A + B...or there sold in a 3 part formula. There entirely separate feeding regimes. If your using the Sensi you don't use the 3 part. If your using the 3 part you don't use the Sensi. The 3 part one is similar to say Fox Farms Nutrient Trio that is very popular.

The reason why they sell them separately is many nutrients do not store long term together well. Separately they store much longer. Alot of times for powders there all stored together in one bag...dried formulas tend not to interact negatively with each other for long term storage.

In either case the Sensi or the 3 part are considered your base nutrients. They are also pretty strong. The dose on the back should be viewed as a maximum amount. Usually you only need 20-30% of what they recommend. Start off slow work your way up to whatever your plant will tolerate.

You will see lots of other nutrients as well when you are looking to buy...stuff like Big Bloom, Bud Candy etc. Those are all supplements. There not required but can add to the plants overall health, yields etc.

One supplement you should add regardless of what base nutrients you use imo is Cal Mag. Plants cant get enough and often base nutrients lack in it somewhat. Some base nutrients lack it all together. For my consumable gardening I use stuff from the store since its cheap and works. For tomatoes they require Cal Mag but nearly all lack it and they sell it like cannabis nutrients stand alone.

Heres a example of a plant I grew using all Advanced. Sensi Grow/Bloom, Silica, Cal-Mag, Bud Candy, Big Bud, Carboload. Thats in a 1 liter Airpot. I grew it in that so it would be small. Its World of Seeds Afghan Kush. I grew both of those in tiny pots with the intention of them being small but fuckers grew to 22-24 inches wide and like over 36 inches tall.
