I just switched from FFOF to Roots organic for my first Ace grows, and both my auto Zamaldelica and my Malawi x NL are yellowing at the second - third sets of true leaves. I have NEVER had what appears to be a N deficiency at the 2-3 week mark for seedlings and my other auto (Critical Soma) and my ACE Bubba Hash and my Ace A5 photos aren't yellowing although the Ace Panama Haze is looking pale at the first set of true leaves also...I'm wondering if the genetics in the Zamaldelica and the Malawi x NL are particularly hungry (or if Roots NPK balance is really absent or weak in this batch), so I've added some FF Grow Big (2 tsp/gal) and some CalMag to the smart pots plus misting with a foliar low ratio...all auto have been transplanted with Mykos mycorrhizal fungi and Azos for atmospherica nitrogen to avoid adding anything else to the Coco but again. I've NEVER seen 2 week yellowing and my auto from Advanced seeds and the photos from Ace are fine! Anyone having similar issues?

:smoking: Good that you switched from FFOF, it's the #1 problem soil I see in the Infirmary... very spotty quality! ... I'm not sure what you mean by coco here? These are both true soils, not soilless mediums.....
Roots has shown to be solid, but there is always potential bad batches out there,...I don't think that's what's happening here though. Those tiny cups don't hold much soil, and thus what nutrients are in the soil... RO is a light soil too, OF much richer....
Your symptoms look like Fe defc., so let's see what the feeds do... Mind the dosing of GB for seedlings, you don't want to burn them either,... half that is fine, and then let it be while you see how they respond,....
As a general rule, auto's don't do well starting out in such small volume pots, the root cramping affects them early on... transplanting needs to be done with zero trauma to the roots, or they will likely stunt out... Better still plant directly, or at least start in 24oz cups minimum...

Coco refers to the coconut shell soil. The Ace are all in 5 gallon smart pots, while the i gallon black pots are the Ace Killer A5 and the Panama Haze newer seedlings...I'm attaching newer photos illustrating that the Advance seeds Critical Soma and the Ace Bubba Hash (including the Ace A5 and the Panama Haze) show no deficiencies. Since the Malawi x NL and the auto zamaldelica both share the Malawi x NL genetics I'm curious as to the nute demands of those genes. The Ace site doesn't offer any feeding suggestions, other than moderate through veg.
