Sorry to hear your autopot grow didn't work out for ya bro... seems like it was mainly the switch to coco that was giving you trouble though. Have you thought of just trying pro-mix with the autopots? My first two autopot grows were with pro-mix then once I had that dialed in I switched to coco. I think trying to change up too many things at once was a bit much to get a handle on but if you just switch to autopots and keep everything else the same I can't see any reason why you wouldn't kill it... just saying

Did you have success with ProMix in the AutoPots? Because the would truly be ideal for my situation. A-train and I are having the same exact issue with pH fluctuation in coco.

@Hansbricks you are exactky right. My ph with the tap and Advanced Nutes stayed at 6.2 wich is perfect for my pro mix. I'll be trying again here soon I just wanted a solid run of 4 to restock then I'll give them another go

Yeah man, my Crystal Meth / Tyrone Special grow was with pro-mix and was my best grow at the time. You can use Autopots with pretty much any medium so just go with what you know if coco isn't working out.

Oh yeah I'll be trying again at a later date.

It sounds like that may be what my next grow will consist of then. I'll definitely give your previous grow a read through. the AutoPot system works well, just coco didn't work out with my tap water and pH perfect nutrients. I'd have to admit that my plants were always perky and pointed straight to the light.

For AutoPots you fill the bottom (with optional AirDome) up to a certain level, I think about 2 inches, with clay pebbles or equivalent and then put your usual medium, whether soil, coco, etc. mix on top of that. Apparently, aerated feed water wicks up the base pebbles into the medium on top, and the pebbles on the bottom can also support thick root growth.
