Hi all! I just wanted to share these two ladies of variation...

I love diversity and granted these are two different auto strains, now if only we could so easily see the beauty of diversity within ourselves.

Cheese Auto - Day 38 from seed
Single transplant
18/6 lighting
First pistils at about day 19 - 22
3 Gallon fabric pot, Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil

About 20" tall, I needed to gently bend & tie the top down (LST)

Northern Light Auto - Day 38 from seed
Single transplant
18/6 lighting
First pistils at about day 28
3 Gallon fabric pot, Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil

At over 12" wide, this snarl of branches & fan leaves is wider than tall

Though the Northern showed pistils at week 3, there is little sing of budding. Again, in contrast the Cheese Auto is in obvious bloom and is even beginning to show trichomes.

Here is an update on the Cheese Auto at day 56 from seed... About day 36 of bloom.

Basically it's been sprout, transplant, feed & water and that is it! She has basically grown herself under the Pro-Grow 260X. An eager feeder though, about 2 gallons every 3 days or so. Every other watering is a feeding with the General Organics "Bio Thrive" line.

With less attention, the Cheese Auto is noticeably larger than the previous Haze Auto we grew, appearance is similar ,as is the unusual "sour-pine" aroma. Both were from DinaFem.

Wow endive that Cheese auto looks great, nice job!

Been curious about that General Organics line, was gonna pick up a sampler pack the next time I hit the 'dro sto'....

I recommend trying the "GO Box", I find using the minimum amounts, but 3 or 4 times throughout a week with waterings seems to do well. I've not had to use the CalMg with the Ocean Forest soil, with exception to the auto Northern above.

Here is my mutant (or lazy) Northern Light auto... Same age as the Autoflower Cheese, but is taking her sweet time in blooming.

Cheese declared female at day 18 from seed and rapidly bloomed. The Northern Light auto declared at day 26, but didn't begin to bloom for another 2 and a half weeks, which puts her at week 4-5 of blooming.

But the Northern is looking good...

At this point the Cheese Auto has about 2 weeks left, and the Northern Light auto about another 4 weeks out.

Oh, and about the Cheese...

Tennis ball sized nuggets of sticky, purple, dank goodness!

NOTE: Cheese autoflower is NOT a good stealth plant. Size wise she is awesome, but her aroma is VERY pungent an wandering. Not that I'm complaining, but you'll want a good carbon filter set-up with this one!

Thank you for looking, more to follow...

About day 72 from seed and 58 days in to budding for the Auto Cheese.

The bizarre Northern Light Auto is having some deficiency issues, took and flushed the root base, adjusted a few things, now it’s wait & see. I believe it is more of a trait within a particular phenotype, as I had one other do the same. It proved a real bitch to keep healthy but the reward was more than worth it!

The Cheese Auto:

Cheese autoflower is color rich, beautiful strain.

About 8 weeks of bloom, the billiard ball sized buds & colas turn purple & ripen

Even the lower buds are getting enough light to fatten up!

The Cheese Stands alone...

Cheese Auto :D

Roughly Day 81 from seed, just before I cut the first buds off of her yesterday morning!

  • Nutrients: General Organics
  • Lighting: Pro-Grow 260X LED
  • Medium: Grown in 2 gallons of soil, fabric pot.

Trichome Close-up!

All the upper branches are now set to dry. I let any lower "non-purple" buds stay on and go for another wek or so...

The Northern Light is the same age, and only half way through a troubled bloom. Pics of her to come soon...
