I will do some bud porn shots this weekend she is coming down in the next couple days, i will harvest the larger buds as this is very dense, susceptible to mold even at 45% RH.
Then smaller buds taking her upto day 80/84. gradual harvest idea givento me by a brother.

I am testing a product in an upcoming thread which is some new LED tech in 5ftX5ft tent in 30L airpots. Fucking awesome setup!! Lets hope i can do it justice!!
Colorado Cookie Day 72:
The largest top colas came off yesterday as they looked nice and ready. I had thought from my previous couple of harvests that it would create a more consistent quality if i chopped them and didnt let them get to crispy... if that make sense
i noticed an iota of mould forming on one of the buds towards the lower part of the main cola. I am guessing this is where airflow was not sufficient enough to pass through. However i do react fast to my girls and the next 3.5 hours were dedicated to leaving no budsite unturned and seeing if there was any detrimental damage to the rest of her or early signs of mold elsewhere.
Good news, i had spotted it early, so moving forward was with this in mind.
I have left the bottom half to thrive until day 75-77, it appears this phenotype is dead on 11 weeks. She has been an absolute pleasure to grow and i think she will be up there with the strongest, most terpy and handsome bud i have grown to date. A real keeper.

The lower part sttill doing her thing for a few days:
The first bud that was chopped a few days before and quarter of the way to dryness. I seperated lower buds to inspect any possible mould.
I will upload the remaining chop pics when the rest of her comes down. But for now i just twisted the shit out of her lower branches as i want them to get as much light as possible and she will be on daily flush for the next few days to encourage her to use up any sugars in her leaves.
I did think it would take around the 80/84 day mark and she may have taken the push, but i felt the quality of the smoke would have been compromised for an overall dry buddage of about 5g extra weight and with potential issues i could have lost the lot which at this point im guessing is over about 100g of dry bud. Terps are super high right now, really sweet to almost cheesy and funky... the grow room and neighbouring rooms STINK... good stink though! :smoking::smoking::smoking:

I really dont think this is purple punch, but i dont care. She smells INCREDIBLE and i just want to shove the buds up my nose lol
She smells like tangerine dream, a friend is growing two purple punch... not only are they super purple... the structure and smell is totally different... a bit too much to . be pheno variation... but im not a botanist, just someone who likes to smoke copious amounts of weed so we will leave tat to the experts and get stoned instead. lol.
My pictures dont do her a lot of justice inside the tent but it is too awkward to get her out of there... i have to tilt her sideways and kind of stretcher her out lol. When she is done i will take some proper closeups and budporn wet n dry.

my bro im gonna be testing an awesome spyder type LED frorm @muddy-ledhydroponic ... 640 watt and absolutely incredible output for ppfd. i am going to do a pretty phat grow with some 30l Airpots and i will tag the AFN crew when i have potted up etc.

Hey everyone!
As we are coming to a close of this grow another update was due.
Colorado Cookies:
Here is the cookies drying inside the tent. I had initially hung it outside the tent but the smell was far to strong!! Some good terps on this strain. I do also think having done one or two harvests now i am more familiar with judging when to chop, by looking at the: pheno, age, terps and appearance as a collective.
So i sectioned off the tent with some cardboard, pretty loosely and let it hang free off some garden wire as you can see. The dehumidifier is close to the outside of the cardboard enclosure, it seems to help draw moisture out of the hang. I have averted from hanging or laying the bud directly in cardboard boxes, i feel as if there is more airflow and a more even dry.
Here are the dried buds, after being hung. I then put the buds onto a tray for a couple of days to further dry then they were jarred up.
then into jars
As times goes on for the cure i would imagine the already earthy and musty smell will improve. I have had GSC a couple of times in amsterdam and barcelona, and its safe to say DPs rendition is a brilliant nod to this strain. This bud delivers on potency aswell.
The stone is very resemblant to a quick, kushy punch to the brain. Almost an instant fog the more you toke, but when the real stone sets in it is a hard, couchlocked, munchie inducing sedative strain... I LOVE IT!! haha.
Day 72:
Here is... what i assume is a tangerine dream... everything from the smell and how she has grown surprised me because she came out the purple punch single seed packet. Nevermind though she looks to be a beaut, maybe i am wrong and this is just a mad diverse phenotype. Either way its good weed! Not as heavy on the yield this girl i think but the bud look and smell A++
See what you guys think... I have a friend growing purple punch and he has two, they are both totally different to this!
She's a tall gangly girl who is taking her time to finish. Still, we persist with the overdrive as she continues to fatten up.
