This is supposed to be just a quick reach-out from me to anyone in this community who has experience with RQS seeds. But even if you haven't got any, still feel free to read and answer any questions you might have experience with!

Ok, so I bought seeds of 4 different strains and got 5th for free.

Here's the list:
Royal Jack
Royal Dwarf
Royal AK
Royal Critical
Royal Bluematic

Onto my questions:

  1. Is the harvesting time stated on the packages realistic? Most of these are 8-9 weeks from seed to harvest. That seems pretty fast. My latest autoflower grow was Easy Ryder and that took about 70 days to harvest. Are these really faster? 8 weeks??? :yoinks:
  2. Is the "Effect" advertised really what you get? E.g. Royal Dwarf is advertised as "Physically stoned", yet it is a 60% sativa 10% indica hybrid!! Now, how's that possible?
  3. Does anybody know are any of these strains easier to grow? I am planing 2-3 subsequent grows this year and I would like to start with the easiest to slowly get into the art of growing, since some time has passed since my last attempts.
May the answering commence! :smoking: :woohoo1::cooldance:

Hi imablackstar
i have grown different strains from RQS they was:
autoAk
Cheese auto
AutoJack
DieselAuto
Quickone
all the strains were easy to grow the time to chop are around the breeders said with ±1 week.
The effect was like they said and all in one the strains are really good.
I would recomend the Autojack good yield easy to grow and also the Ak.

Have fun and happy growing

Thanks for your detailed reply @tobe

Great to hear effect was as advertised, still I am really confused by 60% sativa hybrid being "physically stoned"! I guess I'll just have to grow them to know them. lol

I'll probably go with Jack, Dwarf and maybe Critical in the first take.

Hey I have no experience with RQS, but i have grown a lot of different kind of grass(mostly photoperiod strains). I have done a few pure indicas that were very much up highs, and also done some sativas that would knock you on your ass reminding me much more of an Indica buzz than a sativa.

Now that's something I admit I never heard before. Always thought Sativa and Indica traits are consistent in general, sativa being head high, and indica body stone. Guess one learns new things every day!

I've grown RQS Bubble Kush Auto, and Quick One. The Q1 was ready 88 days seed to harvest and 39" in hydro. The BK has gone from 96 to 113 days, and 28 to 54 inches also in hydro. Altogether solid genetics, easy grows.

Wow 113 days, now that is almost double the time. I wonder what affected it to be so long, the genetics or growing conditions.

That's promising @tobe ! By "ready" you mean somethig like 50-50 milky-amber trichomes ratio?
