Ok guys,this will wrap up this grow...havent been on much,been busy with life,also busy smoking these killer buds
Took some pics of everything curing,been in jars different amount of times since the harvest was spaced apart ect,but northern lights x bigbud has been in the jar the longest! guessing around 3 weeks but could be more,I loose track of hours and times and days now that I dnt have anything in the tent lol
A quick run down of how the 3 strains smoke/smell and tase...both me and the wifes opinion on each
Once all the strains have had a good month curing,"when dr feelgood reaches a month the NL X BB will be 2 weeks ahead or more" so they will all have enough time in jars to be nice
We are thinking of running a little cannabis cup just for me and the wife,lol,it will be fun! both gona have paper and pen,write down/judge all aspects of each strain,taste,smell,looks,buzz ect ect..we will post all the results with pics,prolly be a few more weeks till there all ready...
But heres a very quick review of each strain,
The Bett boo,was the fastes't strain by far,at 50 days it looked great! the top cola went 79days but because it grew straight cola,most of the buds never realy got light,should have lst'd early on!
Very easy to grow! Colors came out later in flowering,with purples and slight blue's ect...great looking herb!
Its also very airy,not dense at all...but not everything will grow the same
Bettys looks I would rate an easy 9+...although fluffy its completly saturated in crystals! and the colors it has remind me of a rainbow!
Betty smells very weird,kinda spicy,exotic peppery,slighty rotton fruit and skunk...
She didnt taste that good before the cure! but thats why were gona try again once everything ready and cured...
but early on her taste was spicy,earthy,harsh,and this weird kinda gross taste followed leaving u not wanting to take another hit! guessing it will be way better next time,been in jar few weeks now...
buzz was weird,and gave me slight headache prolly from not being cured! did pack a punch just couldnt apreciate it..
The northern lights x bigbud is good!!! Almost perfect!
The smell is an easy 9.9! smells like this sweet,piney,christmas tree skunk,mixed with half berry smells from hundreds of different kinds of fruits from a tropical rain forest! no joke! kinda pine-sol like also...
The taste is fucking incredible! Taste like it smells but the taste is thick,thick smoke,very lung expanding! very sweet pinesol taste,mixed with berries and fruit! cant put into words!
The look is amazing also,buds are thick,not crazy dense but just right...
The buzz is amazing also! think the breeder says 17-18% thc?! sounds high but I wouldnt disagree!
Its very strong,hits ya right in the forhead after few hits,lung expand and makes u cough easy,even with little hits!
The buzz is strong body buzz,feels kinda numbing! also provides a nice even head high that last easy 2 hours!
The dr feelgood early on,being curing over a week,maybe around 2,have to check!
The looks is different then the others,more wild looking! more sativa looking,with tiny flowrers,much smaller then the other strains,which also mean way WAY more red hairs! hairs are constantly falling off
It does look good under the lights,apears darker then others,darker green,doesnt apear as much crystals as the other 2 strains but i think its because the calyx's are so small there stacked on top of each other!
The smell is great,even early on its got a nice sweet,sweet smell! kinda like fresh herb smell,mixed with tons of pine!
Very piney! no berry smells or anything like that,I would say "sweet sweet piney earthy sweet bud! lol...
Taste is great! even early it tasted great,not much leaf at all on buds,so the taste we get is very piney and sweet with earthy sweet piney taste! lmao!
High is fucking great as well! Last for 2 hours,more energetic then the others,but not to much,just right!
Provides and nice even body/head buzz,that kinda feels like glowing or buzzing happening throughout the body
Nice and peaceful anytime smoke
gone be great after month in jar...
So overall,we got around 2 1/2 oz I would guess...but not all at once,and they all took way longer then I expected!
When I started this grow I was hopping for an ounce per plant,which would be 4oz total...
I knew that I wouldnt hit those numbers because everything didnt happen perfectly,I will never use the .3 gal airpots again! that was my first problem,there to small to get the benifits of being airpots! The strains seemed confused all the time,they wernt sure if they should grow tall or short, ect ect...I also think because of the airpots,thats why they took so damn long! I would love to try airpots again but bigger 1 gallon ones...
Anyways the experince was worth it,the learning we do as were growing is worth it also...and the buds make it a worth while project
