if your temps is low 60 and high 80 thats pretty much spot on.
My dr40 runs low 64 high 80 passive intake and a 4" duct fan rated at 60 cf/m carbonfilter rated at 88cf/m (100w hps)
If your carbon filter can´t remove the odeur, tjeck if the cf/m rate is in the the same "range" both filter and fan, if not "fix it" and your odeur will be removed.

I think the cfm of my fans are both 70-90...pretty sure it said 90cfm...
the carbon fliter was the iffy purchase I made,it looked and sounded good,but I asked a question about its cfm rating and never got an answer,but it was around 50bucks,which is cheap,only thing I know is its 10" long,virgin carbin,but never saw a manufacture name on it or in descrition,idk...
could my fan be to powerful? it pulls through the filter,with pre-filter on great,still blows a steady stream of air out the back of tent...
I was thinking,something like even 4 dryer sheets around the filter and then put prefilter "sleeve" back over it...
or removing it completly and having the fan blow out,through the carbon filter,itside the tent,but this might even smell worse lol...
how do I fix it very cheap?
only thing I can think of is dryer sheets cuz they do help cover the smell of bud smoke lol...

Making improvements to something you don`t know the facts about (rated cf/m) hmmmmm :no:
Those duct fan are not made to move airthru a filter (they don´t have the mucle) dosn`t say they won`T work
example if the fan is rated 100cf/m maybe 60-80 is the actual Pull..
I think you filter is rated to handle more cf/m that your fan can produce. "just a thought"
If the airmovement out the filter is to little the filter will not work proberly. and the same if airmovement is to fast (that´s why they should be the same cf/m)
If i was you i would sell the "virgin filter" and by a new one because you don`t know the cf/m of what you have.
I have used a CAN1500PL rated at 44-58 cf/m for 2 years with great succes fan was 60cf/m in my dr40 tent
I now have a CAN-Lite 150PL rated at 88 cf/m used this since april 2013 stilll going strong with the same fan..
the 150pl cost about 36euro without postal (it can be refilled with new carbon pellets. same with 1500pl)
the 1500pl maybe 23Pounds
My fan is blowing air out the filter "reversed" have no problems with that config (other than dust bildup inside the filter)
There are also prima klima K2600 mini rated at 88 cf/m (don`t know that one tho)
The can filters will work for sure i have used them for many years now (And they are cheap)
I don´t have any ideas about improvement to what you have sorry !
But try google virgin filters and see if you can find the same size as yours
the smallest i could find "virgin carbon filters" was rated 190cf/m at amazon.

this isent where i ordered from but this looks just like it and cost the same as mine,around 50bucks...4"...10" long...
it says cfm is 265cfm?
I figured because it was cheap and 10" and said it would work with inline duct fans like mine,it was worth a shot,if cnt get it to work,oh well...
where its at isent as much of a problem with the smell,but still need to control it a little..
if I remove the prefilter will that help any?
and even though its pulling through the filter and blowing out the back,it comes out the back with slightly less force then intake so figured it had enough power,idk im stumped...ill check it out later,

ok i looked at ladies tonight..the betty boo grew into the light.and the top bud was laying sideways accross it for atleast 2 hours.but it still apears fine.nothing burn.it dont realy get hot anyways.lol...i raised light up to its max now so fingers crossed its enough that damn betty!
northen light looks like its starting to gain some mass.taller and wider!
also because i had fans off for 24hrs and it was fairly warm today the temp in tent was 86 but humidity was 100 easy.leaves had sweat on them.it was like a sona when i opened it up...also smelled plants from door way again.so decided the easeist fix for smell without spending any money would be to put dryer sheets over the exhaust fan.3 of them actualy.it did slow the pull down some but we all agreed it worked cuz withen an hr u couldnt smell anything but laundry when u walk inside...
maybe when i get enough money ill get another "better" filter.untill then ya lol...
both dr feelgoods look great also..both got wider and taller still..
be an update on day 40.with pics ect....

so yesterday had to take a trip to water the plants,I figured they needed it but aprently they needed it a day b4 I evem got there!
i freaked out a little when I saw 2 plants that almost looked dead,crazy limp,like rubber....
I watered the bad 2 first,gave them all more then normal water,a good soaking which they love,lol...
I used 2 1/2 tsp per gallon of tiger bloom because I still havent pushed the limit yet where i see any indication that im causing nute burn ect,the 2 plants that I thought were either dead or dieing were bairly suporting there weight,they northen light looked very bad,was practicly bent over touching the pot,as was all branches
after a good watering i even turned the led on an hour early to wake these ladies up a bit!
withen 1 hour after watering they perked right up and by hr 2 they both looked fine again,Im pretty sure what happened was on the 2 hot days we had here,along with the nl x bb...and dr feelgood bein right in front of the fans "with airpots"...dried them out fast! to fast,hopfuly not causing any problems to the roots...
because these plants and nice green,branching wider everyday,there drinking more,everyone but betty is still stretching for sure...betty is finaly staying at 22" I think...its about 1/2 to tall to get topbud under light,but its getting alot from the side,i will prolly bend her down some and reposition the bud sites soon if I have to but,betty looks damn good,she tolerates the dryness better then the rest...buds are getting slowly bigger everyday,still just little popcorn things lol,,saw some resin building on buds finaly other day,just slightly though...
other then the betty boo the other are flowering a little slower,mainly stretching right now...
i will get some pics withen the next day or 2,hopfuly by then "maybe even today" check on them just to be sure everythings going good cuz i dnt want them to die after looking so promising!

thats it for today
as u can see the nl x bb that looked just about dead few days ago looked like a different plant last night when these pics were taken,they look like they needed more water so they go a good drinking last night lol,so far Iv seen fairly good results from the tiger bloom but,I thought it was sopose to slow down or stop upward growth and concentrate on flower production?
the 2 dr feelgoods are perfect size now but they look like they will keep getting taller lol...not sure if thats good or bad but might have to do some lsting in the near future...as u can tell the betty has looked great from day 1 till now,today is day 40 but pics are from day 39...she will finish before the others for sure

oh and order some bigbloom.small bottle...just like i did with the tiger bloom,
think the plants good benifit from it.i def wana make sure the roots dnt get damaged from drying out like they do sometimes...i need to figure out what i can add to the top of the soil to keep it moist a little? girlfriend mentioned a water bulb thing thats drips down to the roots ect but i dnt know a damn thing about them lol...but we cnt drive and water every day.gas is to exspensive! so if i can get even 1 more day out of the waterings it will save alot of hastle!
either way.glad the plants are still healthy

wow so just watered plants.they were dry...
its been 80degrees for the last 4 days straight so that and them being in airpots drys them out quick.but i think more then that they wanted more room for their roots.bigger pots! just dnt have them room.lol...
all of them look amazing.had to do some trimming.couldnt even water nl x bb...to many leaves n branches toward bottom..cleaned them all up nice...
got rid of the tiny branches all the way at bottom cuz thrre not going to produce anything and better to use the energy for bigger buds/branches!
betty exploded,all buds have more then doubled!
