9 Weeks and no flower

I remember the first time I did it still, I didnt do nearly enough myself, I was very nervous. Worst case you will have popcorn bud, still usable just a pain to trim lol. Just remember this plant will continue to grow while in flower (new leaves). So if you make a mistake, it wont be the end of the world :)

Ok big difference now. It was a mess of tangled yellowing and lime green stems that had never seen light!! I hope I didn’t go too far but it was super nice to clean it up and get some air and light going!! Doesn’t look like much but it was a whole kitchen garbage bag stuffed!

Thoughts?

Looks great! She looks sad now, but will bounce back quickly!

Your call if you want to defoilate, I wouldnt myself unless the leaves are blocking budsights and you cant tuck them!

You have prevented issues such as WPM and the likes cleaning her out a bit! Great work!

Thanks again for all of the support!

I defoliated some of the bigger fan leaves up top that were tangled and couldn’t even spread out.

She is definitely a bit sad looking but just fed her and leaving her for the night.

Excited to see what it looks like after work and 12 hours of darkness tomorrow!!

Ok so I did what I’m hoping is the best thing. I took the seedlings out and put them in a closet on a light on 24/0 for now. They will get very little airflow as I have to leave the sliding doors open just a crack or my gfs cat will get into them.

I now have the tent on 12/12.

I pulled about 2X what is in the picture of junk leaves out of the base of the plant and it is still a MESS in there with so many vine like stems all over the place. Am I fine to cut a ton of this out? Stems and all? Including some of the big ones you can see in the picture?

Thanks again!!

hey @BCBudNerd and :welcome: to afn! :toke: short answer -> *snip-snip-snip*! me say again & again, it'z totally unneeded, except fer lookz  and gettin rid of it allowz light in for new growth, as well as airflow for the plant in general...annnnd, overall, it'z that much less energy the plant has to expend...simple plant biology  (boom, science! :smoking:)

ppp & :goodluck:

She will look much better today! You should see what I ended up doing to my photo this go! Thrip issue (not much exp when it comes to infestations, just got lucky over the years I guess). Still learning;) I will be buying some predators for them shortly after the move :)

Can’t wait for the lights to come on at 5 so I can take a look!

Should I worry about light leaking in through the flaps at the bottom of the tent?

Lightleak could cause hermi or reveg, so I would say def worry about it :)
