Whats up everyone,

Been on this site some for a while. Recently purchased some Autos online and decided to give Think Different among the others I will be growing a whirl. Lots of experience in both growing Autos and Photoperiod plants. Like doing both don't bash on either. Right now all my autos just cracked and there in plastic containers inside some paper towels.

Right now I am in the middle of a grow… Reserva Privada OG Kush #18. Three of them just entering flowering phase. So got about 6-8 weeks on those to be done. The reason why I even bring it up is thats my big boy tent 4x4 and has my monster 800w LED in it which I will throw the autos in once there in flowering. The tent that they will be growing in is a 2x2x4 tent till I am ready to play musical chairs with my plants..not a problem though. I might just finish them in the 2x2 tent to see how good this new LED I bought is in it. First time using that one.

Heres my set up.

Tent: 2x2x4 Viagrow Tent. Outstanding tent, excellent build quality. My larger tent is there brand as well.

Light: California Lightworks Solarflare 200w 5 watt LED light. It's actual draw is 165 watts. This light is a baby brother to there larger one I own…Solarstorm 800w 5 watt LED with built in T8 UVB lights. It has a actual power draw of 690 watts. I dont think theres a LED on the market that can match this thing. Most are of cheap build quality, run at only 50% SolarStorm Solarflare run at over 80% rated power. The Solarflare is a value as some vendors out there are charging considerably more for a LED that pulls the same wattage. Whats very cool is its 100% American made with American Components. No cheap Chinese trash.

Strains: 1 Dutch Passion Think Different, 3 Paradise Seeds Wappa Auto, and 1 Dinafem Fruit. Growing to be growing all of these save the Fruit in 1 gallon Airpots. The Dinafem Fruit will be growing it in a very small airpot that holds less then 32 ounces. Its tiny. Wanna win the 32 ounce grow contest! The Fruit was also a freebie.

Soil/Nutes: Fox Farm's Ocean Soil. Advanced Nutrients Sensi Grow/Bloom A/B. Advanced Nutrients Carboload, Big Bud, Bud Candy. Botanicare CalMag and Dutch Master Gold Silica. I've had great success with that regime. Worth every ridiculous penny spent.

My intentions are like I said above grow them for a few weeks under my Solarflare. Depending how that goes I will either leave them in that tent or move them under the Solarstorm and put my OG in the smaller tent when its sleep time. I might just keep them all under Solarflare or at least some so I can see how that light does start to finish. I really look forward to using this light as there Solarstorm is simply just about hands down the best Large LED panel you can buy.

Here are some pics of my small set up for this and my lights!

how much heat does that solarstorm kick out? i can't believe how much heat my solarflare makes for an led?! i've gotta get a better fan or wait for cooler weather to use it cuz it over heats my cabinet if i use it now cabinet is 36"x18"x about 4ft tall for grow area but that one solarflare jumps my temp to like 100F

I'm in for the show, think different love powerful LEDs.

What kind of ventilation do you have? I have a 4 inch inline fan on both hooked up to carbon filters. My Solarstorm the tent gets about 80-84. Solarflare so far about 80. Both greatly depend on ambient temp.

Both of my tents are not in a closet or anything else so no confining heat but in a open room.

Also there LEDs are not low power...one of the reasons for the heat generation. Where as most run at 50% California Lightworks run there at above 80% power. There run a little over 4 watts each diode.

Thats the reason why they both have massive heat sinks.

Quick update. Seeds germinated, cracked and developed some tap root fast. I planted them last night in there pots. Pretty fast germination! 100% germination rate so was stoked about that. Nothing sucks worse then a dud. Also included whats growing in my big tent....3 OG Kush #18, Basil, and some Korean Perilla leaves. Perilla leaves are leaves that are consumed raw and used like a wrap around meat/rice or you can soak them for a day in a little soy/hot chilli/green onion and make a yummy side dish. They grow very rapidly 60 days seed to harvest. Those OG's are about 2 weeks into flower. I will post pics of them from time to time.

Thanks man! I hope it turns out...you never know till a ways into a grow so cross your fingers. I think 1st month under the Solarflare and finishing her off in the 2nd month or till its done under the Solarstorm with UVB will make some primo dope.
