6 on 2 off light cycle

I've seen a big discussion on 24/0 vs 20/0 but I have recently come across the concept of a 6 on 2 off cycle and I thought that could be interesting for auto flowers. Has anyone tried that on these boards?

Sounds wonky to me, I just see a lot of very confused auxin photoreceptors pumping out 4x as many hormones per day trying to figure out why the sun is blinking.
