Hey Hey,

Here's my general setup, your feedback is appreciated. I got this setup after watching yt vids and piecing it all together vs buying a built kit on amazon that would've cost more.

I started with (2) 1200W LED Grow Lights, after comparing my growth with youtube videos, I decided to buy a 3rd 1200W LED Grow Light, and then again after a couple of weeks, bought a 4th light as a 1500W LED Grow light. I noticed the 1500W LED Grow Lights to be much brighter and has more coverage over the canopy.

I am thinking of either buying another 1 or 2 1500W LED Lights from Amazon, or perhaps look at a cob light around the same $100 price points, im budgeting $200 for additional lighting. It took 7 weeks to get into flower.

Sprouted: 8/6
Started Flowering: 9/17 (7 weeks later)

4x8x6 indoor grow tent
6" fan &filter &ducting &speed controller
(3) 1200W LED Grow Light (some cheap $100 ones from Amazon)
(2) 1500W LED Grow Light (same as above)

Before I get into my setup, I wanted to know if anyone has any suggestions on the "uptown haze" the "nyc haze" "piff" "nyc purple haze", it's a strain I cannot find anywhere. I have heard different things when researching, as to which is the correct seed, so if anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate it.

>> The Tent <<
> I was told to use 600-800w led... I got the bright idea to use 2 1200w led
Some cheap amazon china lights:

Then I bought a couple of cheap 1500W led, because a friend commented "maybe its not enough light"

>> The Ladies <<
> Notice that one grey fabric pot? Well, that was a reg photo seed, the 13th removed after a few weeks.

>> Mint growing in same pot <<
This was interesting, the mint leaves looked like they started overpowering the auto plant
it seemed as tho they were fighting for the nutrients and water. I had to decide which of
the 2 I wanted, so I decided on the auto... I started just doing mint in a separate pot,
I love mint, i'm hoping it will also help the overall smell, one way to find out.

>> RIP MINT <<
So I pulled all the mint, at least I thought I did, well, 8 weeks later, you can see that one of the mints made it, but it didnt make it, lol

>> Watering Timer <<
On about week 3-4, I introduced this automatic water controller. It has really become a pain in the ass to water all these plants daily.
I didnt set one of the water timers correctly, and it flooded the tent over the weekend.

>>SCROG<<
Placed a scrog on one half of the tent

>> Lets take a look at that photo girl <<
In the first picture, you'll see 3 tops, she auto-topped herself. So I decided to
tie her down to help support the 3 tops. I really want to see how she grows up.

I am now about 9 weeks in from germination. I dont think that this will
be a big yield to be completely honest.
The last pic shows some solos in the background. This is for my next round about
that I am starting now.

The one thing that has completely thrown me off, is lighting.
I have this LUX Meter, to get the right amount of lighting, re-position lights/pots, etc.

However, i'm not seeing anywhere about what is an optimal and effective range to target.

Will a PAR meter be more effective? Or will it be useless since these are LEDs vs COBs?

I'm currently looking at getting cob lighting, im just unsure if I want to invest 1k in lighting for a 4x8, when I can get a greenhouse outdoors
and not bother with lighting again, except maybe using my current ones as supplemental on cloudy days, or would COBs still be recommended?

I'm looking at: Cree CXB3590

I watched this video for grow light top chart:

So

So, I started to look into COB Lights…
The main ones I found were Cree CXB3590

This video is about a comparison between Cree CXB3590 Vs Luminus CXM32 COB

I can only find the Cree CXB3590 COB for sale, however they’re coming from different
Brand names on Amazon. Amazon’s CHoise is Rapid LED

$149 75W - amazon.com/dp/B07BN4RVC3
$99-119 100w - amazon.com/dp/B07G57KGSM
$140 100W - amazon.com/dp/B07D3M7GB6
$109 1500W - amazon.com/dp/B0794WHD4M
$258 600w - amazon.com/dp/B01NCODMEU
$95 800w cob - amazon.com/dp/B0776SDCR2

How should I go about judging which COB would be best and effective? PAR meter?
Should the brand not matter as long as they are CXB3590 ?

What is a good range i should be targeting for light to hit the plants?

Looking forward to continue my journey here...

Im looking into possibly a different watering system, any recommendations?
I intent to grow 12+ plants in my 4x8 tent, and need a different system.
It's very time consuming to filter all the water.
I see the autopots, but that would get very expensive for 12 plants...
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Maybe try 3 or 4 rows of pots instead of 2... Then you could condense more to one side of tent...arrange all the lights so it’s got an even footprint I would think that would help...how high are the lights and do are using just veg mode or veg & bloom together???
