4x4 Perpetual, or Fill The 4x4?

I vote perpetual, maybe a few photo plants every 90 days or so. The autos will finish differently unless you grow the same exact beans, but basically once you are going to replenish what you harvest. That should keep things interesting.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone that's responded so quickly!

Looks like perpetual is the way to go! If I end up with to much (hopefully) I can spread the love with close friends and family.

Anyone running a perpetual while sprouting seeds under like 550 rspec? Plan to pick up like few those bell shaped propagation domes for my 5 gal airpots to cover the small seedlings after they sprout.
Do you guys generally hang your lights as high as possible, then just raise the plants on risers then lower the plant's risers over time, so the small newish girls wont get burned since they are farthest away on the floor away from the light? But still will not lead to seedlings overstretching to much and topple over...?
Sorry for so many questions. I'm in Prohibition-land with no one knowing, or to ask.
Are you guys starting seeds under T5 lighting? Can I get away without it at 1st?

Thanks again to everyone who took time to respond it's much appreciated!

Thanks again for your help!!

I don't have 2nd tent currently. Are T5/fluorescent lights (if that's what you mean?, sorry super noob), what you were referring to? If so "could" they run a 24 hour cycle? Basically I'd set it up in the tent "room" (outside the tent) but the room has over head lighting. But if they run for 24 hours where the overhead wouldn't hurt it when it's on only briefly during the day then this may be very doable. If I wanted to fit say 5 gallon Maxx Yield pots under it to start just for now how large light and spectrum should look for, like 6500k? I see they range from like $49 for small fixture light and up from online grow stores etc.

Again thanks everyone!!

yup, "cfl" = compact fluorescent light ;) they're the good ol' "pigtail" bulbz that were all the rage 4-5 yrz ago, until the popularity of led bulbz flooded the market, makin cfl'z gain an almost dinosaur/cult status now, lol...storez don't even sell em anymore, but u can still get em online...i was jus lucky is all, by still havin a bunch of em left over from me very first grow about 5 yrz ago...and yes, seein as how cannabis is technically classified as a c3 plant, meaning it duzn't require darkness, a 24/0 light cycle is entirely doable ;) and fwiw, u'll no doubt hear a lotta critisizm against cfl'z & t5'z nowadayz, but i for one luv em for veg  there'z no heat involved & u can get the plantz right up next to em (without actually touching) with no stress to the plantz whatsoever...gotta luv that! :joy: hell, i don't even run the high output/high dollar onez like u were referencing, i jus veg em at about 3" under a combo of a couple of 100w equiv 6500k pigtailz, one 2 ft t5, also 6500k, and that'z it, lol...and yes, 6500k, or "daylight/cool white" is what u want for veg & 2700k for flower, altho come flower time, it'z lotz better to have sumthin stronger than fluro, but we can cross that bridge when we come to it  hope this helpz :toke: ppp
