Tent - 2 x 4 x 7
Lighting - 400w MH until vegetative growth slows significantly. Swapping to an SHPS for the remainder.
Containers - 3 gallon (5 gallon equiv) Air Pots
Medium - Pro Mix HP CC. This stuff is pretty expensive, but the ladies seem to love it!
Nutrients - AN Lineup - Using everything in Tang's Feeding Schedule
I start Cal/Mag around day 18-20 (1ml/L) with every other feeding, as I had some minor deficiency issues on my first run, but this seemed to help the 2nd time around (or it could have been strain dependant).
Germination - Beans were soaked in a glass of spring water (in complete darkness), for around 24 hours (or about 6-8 hours after they've taken on enough water to sink), and then planted directly into medium.
I've had a 100% success rate so far using this method (across 3 grows).
This time around I had sprouts within 24-48 hours of planting, that's less than 3 days total from start of germination to sprout.
These gals sprouted on 4/1 making today Day 22
Light is currently about 18" away (started around 26" dimmed to 250w for the first week or so)
Temps have been 78-81F (occasional spike to around 86 when ac is off, doesn't happen often)
They were tied down earlier today.
They'll likely see another 2+ weeks of veg.
It's a "60 day" strain *cough*, but I plan to run them a bit longer.
The Cotyledons on both girls have pretty much died off already (which has never happened this early for me before), but they look great otherwise. Perhaps I should have ramped up the nutes a little faster, this strain is supposed to be a heavy feeder.
0 complaints or issues with this first gal, all growth looks perfect and symmetrical, lush and green. With each new set of leaves displaying an extra set of digits.
This gal on the other hand, seems to be quite the mutant (but looks healthy).
There seems to be a deformity on one side of each set of leaves.
In these pictures (above), one of the digits is curled at a weird angle, and half of it is missing entirely.
In this case, the same leaf on the other side is normal looking (3 digits), and this one, yeah.
Yes, I am white as fuck.
