Bend and stretch - you're gonna fill that space for sure!

They are growing a new node a day on all the sites. Bending the "side" growth back to the rear of the girls. There is a bare space of soil that needs to be filled in with as much growth as possible. The main stem being bent to the rear along the outer edge of the SmartPots. Going along very well....kinda scary how fast the are growing.

Oops...bent a side branch a little too much an put a snap in the stem. Had a bandage strip handy and patched her up lickity split. The Armoire grow space looks like a jumble of cannabis stems going everywhere. Figuring out where to put this stem and that stem...leaf tucking to get those smaller bud sites some light. It's a project in motion. Still have a good four weeks or more before they go into the flower stretch...they WILL FILL the grow space.

Day Twenty Seven. Eleven days of LST.

Filling in nicely. Trying to keep the "main stem" horizontal has been easy. Bringing the side branches back away from the main stem to fill in the grow space. Next good feed is tomorrow. May up it a bit as the girls are growing quickly. They are going 3 days on a liter (quart) of water. Have no idea what these girls would look like if they were left alone w/o any training. Seem to like the training. Starting early keeps the auxins (growth hormones) in balance. No dominate steam bud growth; keeping the canopy even.

Trying to let them grow out and fill the grow space. Going on their 4th week now. Should see an explosion of growth soon. Keeping them even has been a daily job. Get obsessed with the evenness of the canopy.

Just gave them their third feed today. Going to let them grow a bit before doing anymore bondage. Even it's a low stress...they still get stressed. Raised the Cool Tube with HPS to 19" from the tops of the grow. The girls looked a little droopy this morning. Lifted the SmartPots to check their weight...could of waited another day to water, but I fed them anyway. Allowing the soil to dry out better before another watering. That should be the end of this week; 3-4 days is good.

Looking good BayLee. Have to follow along just to tune-up my skills. Going to do a couple of big girls on my next grow. Maybe a Moby Dick or a Fast & Vast, but still debating.

The girls are getting a few days off of bud bondage. Sort of a Spring Break for them. LST is not necessarily un-stressful. The girls are not growing naturally and the auxin hormones are being a bit taxed. Maybe not, but going to see how the growth is during the week w/o trying to tie down buds. It's good to let them rest and then start bending and twisting. Get a better idea in the shape too as the buds compete for dominance.
