For the record, even with Auto's they sometimes need 5-8 weeks before showing sex, it totally depends on the genetics that are used. We have some 12-15 week autoflower strains that sometimes just start showing sex in week 7 or 8.

About the vegging, couldn't agree more with your buddy, especially if you grow limited number of plants.
With 8 weeks of VEG you ensure big and healthy plants with a strong root system, you can then look forward to big buds and a massive yield!

I havent had any that take that long yet. But I try and get faster finishing ones. Less then 90 days Seems like its about 3 weeks at most other than the anvil I grew that was a month. hes does grow some hammer photos. I just dont have the room for them and I like that i can have some vegging and flowering in the same tent. for me autos are the perfect fit. Someday I wanna grow some photos. But will always have a soft spot for autos. And there will always be autos in my tents.

I grow in my kitchen next to a window and humidity is not always the best.
People tell me tents do make a huge difference in the growing process.
I'm sure that when you have total control of temperature, humidity and air flow, you maximize their potential of course.

I will probably get a tent for the next grow.
People tell me they do make a huge difference in the growing process.
I'm sure that when you have total control of temperature, humidity and air flow, you maximize their potential.

It all depends on your particular situation.... Mine I keep open in the front, 24/7, it's more for reflective qualities and odor control.... If I zip it up, temps get real high, leaving it open allows bedroom A/C to keep it in range.

I want to try photos to, but I like how I can grow perpetual and grow at different stages and get several grows a year... So I can try all different strains....

How hot? I got a portable ac unit and central air... Mine stays between 74-78°f I keep mine closed if I had it open it for down to 70-72°f if I turn my lights all the way up it goes in the 80's

Mine topped in the 100's during test and it wasn't even full on summer.....actually helkped me simplify my setup...don't even have a timer now, wake up, turn on night stand light, get dressed, turn on fans, exhaust and lights, turn off nightstand light...reverse it when I go to bed....works a charm for me.

It's not that hot here yet. The humidity is usually on the low side. Low 30's and 40's. Right now is 47%. One of the things I like the most about the Mars Hydro TSL 2000 is the heat. Super bright and warm but never overly hot. Plants love that light and so do I XD
