Fast Buds 4 fast buds strains 1000w soil grow

Nice grow, Fastbuds rocks great genetics. That Pineapple Express is one of FastBuds bigger plants and it will give you plenty of smoke. Having that GSC come out smaller may have done you a favor(not the way it happened that sucks) because that one is another big plant. I like the setup you have I have never heard of someone using a 1000 watt bulb in a 4x4 tent. I am going to run 1 in a 7 gal pot and LST it I thought a scrog was cool but with auto's it seems a little more intense and I have never done one so LST it is. I am intrigued that you have the same tent size but a ton more light (I run 600).I find that the bigger plants suck the room up and grow into the lights so training is becoming (or has been) a must. You are rocking it:slap: :headbang::headbang::headbang:
The light has been amazing I debated the 600 for awhile and decide I can use every inch of the tent with the 1000 the footprint is 4x4 the 600 is a little less and I have been very happy it's air cooled and I run a a/c so I can control the heat I was thinking too I know I can grow 4 plants in that tent the size of the Pineapple Express I'm gonna do 4 big autos next grow i really think I could but thank u if u have any grows online let me know and thanks for viewing my grow !! The pineapple keeps growing tho it's crazy and I moved it it's not even directly under the light but still keeps going it's gonna be nice it's a lot bigger in person too I was trying to guess what it would yield but I don't know how the buds will be yet it's not that far

I agree the 600 watt foot print is less. I see running the air conditioner keeps those temps down I was wondering how you kept the heat down. https://www.autoflower.org/threads/...to-one-blooming-and-one-being-stubborn.52983/ This is my second grow and I went through some weird stuff. I was never comfortable posting stuff but I got used to it. My photography skills lack but gotta start somewhere. I really like what you have going on there. You will be surprised how much it will continue to grow. Both of my grows have plants that end up 4 to 6 inches under the light. These latest were super sensitive to light. I was running them with the extra lumens setting which in effect makes it a 650 watt. It's always hard to guess the weight at this stage but as the develop you may have a better guess. I think if you do it right you can get around that 140+ or even more you picked some great genetics. @FastBuds put out really good yielding plants tht can get really big. I will be in for the ride on this one.

Thank you very much. I use MH for the first three weeks. Then switch to hps from then on. I did that too and the leafs cupped really bad and had light burn. With that 1000 watt you have to be careful. If you notice even the slightest cupping then move them up.Measure your plants every day to make sure you keep the lights up where they should be. It is something to keep in mind. I keep mine at 16 to21 during veg depending on what the plant is doing. As you can see in the pics they didn't like the light from the 600 watt and my temps were around 71 and no higher than 75 degrees and 58H.

You are taking advantage of you first grow by being here and it is how we all learn Watering is something that will come really quickly you will go into you second grow and it will click and there will be a comfort zone.I have no doubt your next one will be top notch. Thanks for the compliments very much appreciated. Minus the light burn they really are coming out nicely it should be some really good smoke. Til next time I gotta catch some sleep I gotta get up at sunrise at 6am to put the plants out. I hate when an 8 month old ballast craps out two weeks before you are finished.

Yea that's horrible luck my local hydro store if u take your broken ballast in they will loan u one for awhile they're a great shop tho and yea we have had record breaking weather where I'm from it's been almost 100 the last 3 days and my tent temp is 78 that's the lowest I can get it I like it a little cooler but yea I had the mh way to close I learned as I went I would've liked more stretch for the blackberry but the whole thing is buds so I can't complain I've even noticed with my first grow that the roots organic soul master feeding schedule is light on nitrogen and I have noticed that so I'm trying to find the right combo of nutes now but this forum has been great I've learned a lot from the members and just learn from all the grow journals and questions ppl ask I studied for like 4 months before my grow I put almost every dollar I had into it so it was important I didn't fuck up to bad that's why I panicked with the one plant that hermied but it's outside and it looks amazing and no signs of anymore pollen sacs the plant glistens in the sun it's gonna be nice to compare outdoor and indoor

Actually I know the guy that owns our local grow shop and he most likely would loan me one but it happened on the 4th of July weekend and they were closed so I really had no choice it sucked. Wow 100 degrees:nono: man those are excellent temps for that type of weather(hence the air conditioner). 78 is good you can actually go up as high as 85 but it seems most growers go for that 75 area so you are good as long as that humidity stays down but sounds like you have that in a good spot.
The MH will put out more heat that an hps. The MH keeps the nodes closer which makes more bud sites. Sometimes a plant is just predetermined to stretch,I seem to get one tall and one shorter or on my first Fast Buds GSC grow I got one short and two really tall plants two finished at 63 and one should have gone 75 but I pulled it a little early at about 68 days. Shorter plants that are filled with buds do just as well as as bigger plants just for the fact that they are compact and full of buds. Look at some of the grow comps or bud of the month pics a lot of those are shorter plant that snap branches.

I have heard good things about roots organic soil are you using their product line of nutes I didn't check to see if you listed it in your introduction for the journal. There is a good nutrient line from Green Planet called MediOne and it is a one part grow nutrient they are reasonably priced and work great. I used their new three part on the Blueberry's and used only half strength and they did well. My next grow I have the rest of the ammendments like the massive, W8,Finisher and I will use SM90.Check them out for the heck of it. http://greenplanetnutrients.com/ I studied and researched quite a bit and it was fun but all that went out the door and it was on hands growing that really did it. I hear ya on putting all of your cash into it and yeah the pressure is on but you can't panick too much then it can make it a not so fun hobby. I am currently out of smoke so that's why this was so important to have this come out. I don't blame you on panicking but I bet that out door will do well for you plus it is a good comparison and something you include in the journal. Wow I must be the mouthiest person around here I always write books it seems lol.. Have a good day bro:headbang::headbang::vibe:

That's jus bad timing with the ballast doesn't get any worse. It's been so hot and dry here we barely have had rain this year that I was lighting fireworks a piece of one hit the grass and half my grass caught on fire lol jus from one lil spark. I actually use a fox farms mix 2 and I use roots organic and soul aurora nutes the master pack it's called and I follow the master schedule with a lil tweak.

I agree it doesn't get much worse but thank god they were so close getting them outdoors. We have 8 months of rain and dreariness out of the at least this year we did but stuff grows incredibly good out here. I don't know if you are familiar with California but I grew up in the North Bay it's about 40 miles north of San Francisco we had similar weather before I moved to Oregon and yeah fireworks will do some damage with everything so dry. Sounds like you have your routine down and uses what they feel comfortable with it sounds like you have a good system in place. Hey Fast Buds puts out some good genetics and they pretty much have a target time of around sixty days.I am excited to see how your grow comes out I bet you get a boat load off that pineapple. have a great day bro!
