New Grower 3rd grow: mephisto & rocbudinc - rainscience vs fabric pot.

here they are today DAY 15

- if my node count is right (1st node is above the circle leaves?) then they are going on 4th node?
- how behind are the plants compared to the average 2 week old plants? (in soil)

- i have until day 20 to top so ill see where they are in the next 5 days..

last 2 - 3 weeks has been brutal on the ladies. 90-95+ HEAT!! i dont think they liked that at all...

#1 (rain science) was fimmed on day 20 due to the girl being small and bushy.
#2 (fabric bag) was topped on day 20 and retopped (lower node) on day 21.

both girls are barely growing.. but they definitely grew .

weather is back in check! cooler days/months ahead so ill be adding 2-3 more plants in 3gallons once the soil/seed arrives.

switched the lights from 18/6 to 20/4 on day 28.

barely any change on vertical growth with the girls.

stunted is an overused word,i prefare didnt reach full potential a tad on the smaller side yes,but they look healthy enough
its almost imposible to stunt a 5 week old plant,other than chopping limbs off a hiccup free first 3 weeks can make all the difference.

thanks @archie gemmill they definitely struggled with the heat. 90-95+ the first 2-3 weeks.
looking forward to see how the upcoming beans will grow with the cooler months ahead!

quick update:

GRv2 in rain science pot is up today! which makes it DAY 1 (10/8)
GRv2 in fabric pot still not showing up..

GRv2v in solo cup after 24hr germination

DC grew upside down with roots up! dug her up this morning and found her dead. brown roots / mushy bean.
another DC in germination and will be planted tomorrow.

all seeds are up and running.

- GRv2 in fabric pot finally broke ground on 10/10 w/shell that i helped take off
- GRv2v in solo cup also broke ground on 10/10
- DC broke ground on 10/11

just going to make 10/11 as DAY 1 for everyone to make the count easier.

- GRv2 in rainscience is on DAY 3

both double grapes on day 42
- stunted but frosty!
