Lighting 2nd Grow: Rapid Afghan and Easy Ryder, Airpots, CFL

Hey snooch, thanks for stopping by! :smokebuds: Christmas was good. Lots of little ones running around and lots of good cheer all over. The festivities are being drawn out right through till New Years, so I'm having to keep a low profile with things.

My girls are doing absolutely great. I'm very happy with them. The ER is a plump little tease. Healthy green, fat and juicy.

The RA is getting big and she's looking like the New Bitch On the Block. :hump: She's decided to just grow like there's no tomorrow. I raised the lights three times in the last 24 hrs. I so wish I could give her ALL the light so she could put out like she wants to, but the little fat ER needs some love as well and I'm giving her all I can.

No pics till the weekly update on Friday though. Not even for me. I love doing a side by side with the pics after a few days and the "WoW" effect..:smoke:

Sorry I'm a slacker! Finally subbed! Everything looks great bro! I'm very glad you are VERY happy with your girls! That's why we do it! The cab makes me smile everytime I look in it! Can't wait for the picture update bro! Glad you had a great Christmas!

:smokebuds: I myself will be Assassinated throughout the New Year! LOL Let the festivities begin! :buds:

Hey Rebel! So glad to have you here! :smokebuds:

These two are doing much better than my first grow. That's what makes me so happy. I've learned and improved my methods and recipe's and now I'm seeing how that all comes into play. It's big fun! I'm looking forward to showing off my ladies tomorrow. :pimp:

Ha ha!! Hope you enjoy that Assassination! :smoke:

My girls are on DAY 28 now. They are doing wonderful.

They both have some non-uniformity going on. One side branch longer than her counterpart on the other side, another side branch grown slanted to the wrong angle... Things like that. I'm inclined to put that down to my lighting situation and a non-ability on my part to turn the pots as often as I should. I try to do that twice a day, but I'm trying to keep cool with all the Holiday-spirited people still around here...

What makes me so happy about these two is their good health and happiness. They're not the biggest or the bushiest plants around, but they are just green from top to bottom. The new growth comes in light green and changes over to the beautiful uniform green of the whole rest of the plant(s).

I damaged one of the leaves from the very first set of leaves on the Easy Ryder about two weeks ago. I was loosening the soil up before feeding and stabbed the leaf with the fork. That hole is still there and the leaf is just fine. Just as if it happened this morning and not two weeks ago. Those bottom most, very first leaves still look just as healthy as the rest of the plants.

That's why I'm so happy with them- they're just showing me lots of love, making life simple.

The growth on the Rapid Afghan is fast and steady. She's really putting a strain on my nerves with trying to reach into the lights. Today I only had to raise the lights once.
She smells great. Skunky, skunky, skunky!
I'm expecting some wonderfully big buds from this girl...

MY fat little Easy Ryder. She's sweet and bushy. No smell, 'cept for when you brush the leaves and then she smells just green. Nothing weedy there. She's still behind by a few days. I'm hoping she gets a little taller. I was expecting some quicker upward growth by now, might still happen soon.

I'm not liking these pics too much. It was all done in a hurry, sneaky and stealthy...

Thanks snooch!

I forgot all about saying something about their feeding. I'll get that up later on today. First I have to shovel some snow and do some last minute shopping before this year runs out.
