It‘s
Day 49 and my girls are looking really happy.
I‘ll keep giving the girls home-made teas and the BioBizz Fish and Bloom, back and forth, as I have been. Since they just had a tea two days ago, they‘ll be getting full strength BioBloom next. They’re spoiled and starting to get droopy, telling me they want some food, but the pots’ weights are telling me they have to wait till tomorrow. I‘ll add some Fish in for the Rapid Afghan as well because she‘s showing some yellowing on a few of her larger fan leaves.
Imagine opening up this door and having a skunk jump out and pee all over your toes. That’s what you’d be smelling right now. My ONA/Electric Spray Combo isn’t handling it anymore. It’s all the RA. The Easy Ryder doesn’t smell at all. You have to rub her and pet her to get her to tickle your nose.
I’m literally able to watch these girls grow. I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s ever been guilty of counting hairs and looking at the amount of light shining through somewhere and all those crazy things. You really loose count with these two.
I‘m almost certain that the yellowing on the RA is the normal, awaited yellowing before finishing up. She‘s way ahead of the ER now. I wonder if she’ll go another 3 weeks. I doubt it. Sorry, no macro shots. My camera won’t do it. But if you have a look-see, you’ll notice how she’s being very generous about the trichome production…
riz predicted that my ER is going to be a beast. He might be on to something there. She’s taking her time. Probably about a week and a half—two weeks behind the RA. Maybe even more. So zaQ buddy, she’s going at LEAST another three weeks.
The central cola on the ER is sort of alien looking. I’m guessing that it had to do with the defoliation a while back. I think when I did that, she stopped putting on height and it caused some sort of back-up. It looks like someone squashed down the top. Flattened her out.
Right now I’m enjoying the fruits of my first ER harvest. She only had my teas to drink until her last three weeks, when I added BioBizz things. The taste is fantastic. So I’m wondering how different the taste of this ER is going to be, since she’s been fed differently. Can’t wait to find out! She’s starting to get a grip on my heart, getting to be very special.
I plan to do a staggered harvest with the RA. I can’t say for sure until we get there, but the way things look now, I’ll take the main cola first. Then I can tie the lateral branches up a little –get em in a little tighter and not so wide– so that the ER has some room to flourish. Both of them have been cramped to some degree, but the ER has gotten the worst of it. This has caused all of her side branches to be “bent in” a little, which has,of course, slowed or deterred growth a bit. When she gets some more room, I hope she’ll thank me for it.
Now the thoughts about harvest, drying and curing these girls are going through my head. I won’t have the cab to dry in like last time. I have a big sturdy pampers box waiting for me to get the right idea. Also an empty closet, but no ventilation, other than leaving the door cracked. I don’t like that idea too much.
Not really much more to say. They’re healthy, doing their thing. I’m happy. Excited actually.
I want to share something with you guys as a big heart-felt Thank You for coming around and watching, helping, and chatting. So go ‘head, open it...
I usually use the smaller attachment, but since you’re here, we’ll use the big one...
nice…
And for the nature buffs...
