New Grower 2nd grow and buds are not dense..

I am into week 9 and buds are light and fluffy ,fan leaves are falling off a few plants and one plant bud leaves are starting to yellow and going to harvest it in 3 days...what causes the buds to be light and fluffy no weight no density?

What kind of lighting are you using? I've heard that CFL's can do this.
I use LED's and mine are very dense and hard.

Ignoring the obvious, I would guess that maybe heat is causing this. A hot grow room or canopy can cause light, airy buds. Anything over 80F is too much. No biggie for a day or two, but less than ideal for the long term, Hope maybe that helps - from one greenhorn to another

You may want to post a pic for us to see. What may be airy to one is dense to another. Strain choice as well can make a difference. I grew two strains side by side - Blue Cheese Auto and Devil Cream Auto. The BCA has the densest hardest buds i have grown and the Devil Cream has large airy buds. Everything was the same, soil, feed, lighting. Lack of light can contribute to this as well. In my opinion, the most limiting of your buds potential has to do with not enough light.

oh man it could be anything from strain..soil.RH,Temps n so on.inclusding TOO much light or not enough.usually the latter.but sometimes some strains will just do that.even most youll see are buds and some are a lil more spacing between nodes n so on.I have a bluse dream auto from HSO thats doing that to me and ive grow a fair amount of real BD and HSOs BD too and never had one do this to me till now.soooo its not uncommon if your grows dialed in even.next round just work the numbers and distances a lil closer and youll be happy with your improving outcome.it happens for good or bad to us all lol.as long as its smoke and in tastes btter than brick weed..?all is right with the world and will improve.

i have a 12x12 room with three 1000 lights and four 4 foot t5 lights shinning up from floor.i jack herer, candy kush and 2 fast 2vast..1 out 3 jack herer are dense tight buds..my room has been averaging around 77-80 degrees..ill post pics later..
