so heres my set up:
a tent 22"x36"x63"
Roots Organic Potting Soil
Buddha Grow & Bloom
2x GrowBright 6” clip-on fan
6” Inline Duct Fan Rated at 250 cfm
GrowBright Indoor / Outdoor Thermometer Hygrometer
HTG Supply 400 watt HPS bulb

* 55,000 lumen output
* 24,000 hour rated lifespan
* mogul base
* universal mounting positioafter all that i still feel like im missing something, havent really decided on which strains to start with first any ideas on which is an easy first time grow?

You will need some nutes aswell, get some Fox Farm Trio, its what i use. I would recommend some ONXY or MI5 to start with. With your area i would not go with more then 4 plants at a time 5 might be pushing it. Also for pots i would recommend getting some 3 gallon smart pots, They are great and proved more oxygen to the root zone. Get yourself a PH meter aswell, having a good PH lvl is essential to a grow.

Also that Lumen figure means nothing, PAR is a better measurement when dealing with grow lights. The 400 watt light will be plenty for that size grow room.

I don't see a ballast for your HPS bulb. You just listed a bulb, but no ballast or fixture???
I would not plant your seeds, directly into roots organic soil. It is way too hot for seedlings, especially autoflowers. I would pick up some Sunshine #4, and tier plant, from a 16oz cup, into the hotter soil.

To be honest i am not to crazy about that hood, the light is exposed, i didn't read it all cause i am still half alseep just woke up lol. If that light is running They get EXTREMLY hot and if water was to accidently spash on up on it (IT DOES HAPPEN) it will exploded. You should be looking for a better quality air cooled hood that has a piece of glass on it to protect the bulb. Aagain i did not read much into it yet. But a dimable ballast is always a plus.

Them grow bags that come with the kit are WAY to big for autos, so you don't want to use them.

If you will notice, the second kit comes with a larger tent, which IMHO is too big for a 400 watt light. It comes with more and larger grow bags, again the grow bags are 7 gallon, where 3 gal is fine for autos. There are some other differences, but those are the main ones.

If it were me, I would go with the first tent, but I would customize it with the "Euro Reflector", which is the one I have, and it is great. I would also add a better fan, and a carbon filter. I tried to use an inline duct fan, like the one that comes with the kit, but the bushings in that fan, just don't hold up, and started squealing like a pig, think deliverance scene, within a couple of days. If smell is not an issue for you, you can get away with not using a carbon filter, but most of the good strains, stink to high heavens, and smell will give your grow away almost as fast as telling everyone about it.

If you're referring to the carbon filter, no I don't see one there, and yes, you will need one. Otherwise your whole house/apartment is going to smell and people will know what you're doing.
