Mephisto Genetics 2018 Mephisto testers by Margahooja

You just talked me into a pic brother... if you saw my first s.crinkle, at 117g's. She was a very small statured plant too. This plant has same structure. But larger. And the density is right on track. The first s.crinkle has been the most dense flowers ive come across. Period. Not just that ive grown.
This lady at 51days is every bit as dense so far. But longer fatter bud structure. So 6-7 isn't an unreasonable estimate imho...
Dried/cured bud is from first s.crinkle plant. Around 35-40days in jars. Review is posted.
Second pics are from the 51 day s.crinkle...
Which btw. The effects are every bit what you would expect from the parents...

Beautiful nuggets there MrCHeeZe. That’s going to be a nice haul. Thanks for the pictures.

Well my experience before this run with advanced nutrients was just using sensi. Adding a little General hydro liquid kool bloom. And K Si...
And did some different flush lengths. And would definitely say the heavier flush was much sweeter. When using emerald harvest full line. Which was pretty much a rip off of advanced hobbyist level program. And feeding the sweeteners all the way through flush, like they recommend, left some amazingly sweet terps. So kinda mimicking the schedule i kinda developed for my grow with em harvest. And this s.crinkle. the smaller one. Is everything great i remember from grape crinkle. But much denser buds, with the g.c stature...
Shes a stinker!!!!

Thanks man!
It's probably something to do with my old methods, I would just water flush, perhaps sweeteners are the key to nice terpyness. I'll have to revisit in the future.

She's a lovely girl, think I'll get one in the next rotation.

im going to try this also with my next run iv been seeing people say that leaving the sweeteners in till the very end gives you a much stronger tasteing and smelling end product all you need to flush out is the base nutes /npks
:pass:

With emerald harvest, it leaves the micro grow bloom in with sweetener. Through the flush. At almost nothing amounts 2ml per gallon of each. But with e.harvest, i used the mgb at half strength throughout grow, and the other additives at full.
Doing the same with advanced nutrients. Sensi bloom a+b at half strength, with additives at full. Auto just don't need a heavy base. At least not mephisto genetics. I do find though if uptake, and metabolism is strong, additives can really push um, without burning them up. That's also with a ton of light though too. The less light, the lighter i feed.
All this is in my experience. I see a lot out there that doesn't work for some, works great for me. And vice versa.

Thanks man!

You won't regret the sour crinkle. Three plants so far, and all are champions.
As far as leaving in sweeteners.
Since they typically, like bud candy, honey chome.. advanced, and emerald harvest sweeteners. Are typically magnesium in instantly available form, with secondary vitamins, for carbs... can't see that being toooo heavy to leave in regiment. Especially if you keep microbe levels up. I do use Mammoth P as well. Which is also used throughout flush. And those sweeteners will definitely keep those bennies active. Which in turn keeps feeding, while plant is working through excess metals, npk etc... without cannibalizing herself...
Just my experience... im definitely still learning.

Thank you for that bro!

Hi friends. Here's this weeks update for the test plants. My plants are 25-27 days old. All 5 are flowering. They seem to be a little slow to blast off. I've done a little defoliating. Some of these had very large fan leaves at the top that were about impossible to tuck. Hopefully there will be a big burst coming this week.
First up is Strawberry Nuggets. 27 days old and 10.5 inches tall.
