OK. I've got my 2017 season on order. I split the inventory between 4 vendors. One of which (Nirvana), I've been using exclusively as I get my growers legs.

Splitting the order up like this cost me a lot more for shipping and handling but it also reduces risk of loss during transit. I mainly split it up in order to see who provides the best buying experience. Nirvana is a known shopping experience since I’ve ordered several of their varieties on 4 other occasions. I plan to share my experience here as things develop.

Keep in mind that this is going to be anecdotal since a lot of external variables can affect a buying experience.

First, my buying experience with Nirvana has been absolutely positive so far. They’ve been able to get the product to me within 5 to 7 working days from shipping on all occasions but one. One order took over 3 weeks to get to me. In fact, I’d given up on it after 15 working days. I contacted Nirvana about the issue and they advised that I wait another week. Sure enough, I got the order a few days later. They use a stealth system that is simple and clever. It has not failed for me yet (knock on wood).

One thing that is a must for me is that the vendor MUST accept credit card payments. Several of the vendors I had originally intended to try don’t accept cc payments. Some only dealing in cash / bank wires. Bank wires are far too expensive and sending cash adds unnecessarily to the time to receive the product.

So, without further ado, of the four vendors selected Nirvana is much less expensive but their selection is nowhere near as broad as the others. The other 3 are fairly close in cost (I include shipping / handling / processing – not just the cost of goods). Attitude is the most expensive but well in range of Seedsman and Haze.

Haze is the standout so far. They’re in startup mode and extremely responsive. Hopefully, they’ll continue their great service once they get grounded.

As I researched product, I found that I’m drawn to product with interesting names. Given two offerings with similar attributes, I’m drawn to those with the most interesting / descriptive name. You’ll notice how heavily loaded the order is with Fastbuds product. The product information they have on their website is spectacular. Reading it, I could imagine the taste of Girl Scout Cookies and the happy relaxed euphoria of West Coast OG. Other breeders should take note. And know that this word smith is for hire – cheap. :smoking:

Currently, I’m consuming product from my first grow: Nirvana Northern Light. Deliciously mellow couch-lock. Love it! My second grow is in progress: 2 Nirvana Bubblelicious and 1 Nirvana AK-48. Tomorrow will be day 30 on the second grow. I’ve 30-40 days to go (possibly more). So, I’ll never be able to grow all this in one season but that’s OK. There’s always next year.

I should also mention that while I lean toward an Indica high, I've loaded the order with a lot of Sativa dominate product. Go figure.

So far everything has gone very smoothly with all but one vendor. All orders have shipped but one. I'm also having issues getting a response to my emails from the supplier. I've issued an ultimatum with the supplier and if I've not heard from him by 5:00 PM CST today, I'm going to open a fraud alert with my credit card company, write this vendor off as a fraud and reorder the beans I ordered from him from a proven reputable supplier.

OK. I've gotten everything in that I ordered and was really pleased with my experience with all the vendors. I did have a communications issue with one vendor that was sorted out quickly and the order was shipped with tracking so I was able to watch it leave Europe, land in the USA, languish in customs then zip to my mailbox. All in all, I'd say all of the suppliers are customer oriented. There are two stand outs: Attitude and Haze.IO. Both were excellent but I have to give Haze.IO the edge and rate them [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] for this experience.
