hi,i got/had 2 blue dreamatics from a 2fast4buds seller that i wont name even tho they got my address wrong sent seeds to a nursing home instead of my address! but thats another story...

my question is i grew the two same seeds in the exact same environment one seed started showing pistils at 2 weeks(small 9 inches high major cal/mag scaring at harvest pulled it at 6 weeks) while the other never showed pistils until 5 weeks(leggy but minor cal/mag spotting still going strong)

the one that flowered early first did have major cal/mag issues i dont know if that contributed to the early flowering, i know seeds can differ but is this a thing with autoflowers same seed different flower times or did i get a different seed,im thinking its the cal/mag thing.....any advice is appreciated

photoperiods can have 8-10 phenotypes from seed.clone is a clone is a clone.
autoflowers tend to be very similar phenotypes.sometimes 2 ( a green and a purple) the odd time 3.
very very rarely will they have a phenotype way way off, like with yours.some stress ofcourse can mess with any kind of plant.
you just got unlucky :coffee2: double unlucky as a new grower :wall:
better luck next time
good luck n keep er lit
:pighug:

interesting thanks for that info i may have to have a chat to the seed store about this i have 12 other top shelf seeds from them so im now worried im not getting the seed im paying top dollar for and i wont be able to dial in the right nutes and ph if all the plants are different it will be a nightmare for me as a new grower and a loss of alot of money ......thanks for the reply

I planted two Fastbuds seeds of Pineapple Express on June 9th. One plant has huge buds and will be ready to harvest any minute. The other plant is larger and just started showing pistils.

I planted four Fastberry seeds. Two plants are nearing harvest and stand three feet tall. The other two planted the same day and same soil went into full flower at about six inches tall and were stunted. I disposed of them.

I planted three seeds from another breeder who advertised two phenotypes in a strain. One a short plant with a large central cola, the other a large plant with long branches and small buds. 90 days to harvest. Planted in May.

I got two of the shorter phenos and harvested at just over two months, the third is a tall plant over 55 inches and won't be done until next month.

All my mistakes or stunted plants have resulted from either giving nutes too early or using Fox Farms Ocean Forest mix which was too hot and stunted growth.

I decided not to feed any plants nutrients until after they reach at least six inches tall planted in FF Happy Frog mix and use Fox Farms trio at minimal amounts until the plant reaches over a foot tall and then I up the nutrients as the plants grow. I'm growing everything outside now except some plants that are days away from harvest that I move into a tent for humidity control.

Less nutrients seem to be better for Fastbuds I'm growing as giving nutrients too early in soil has caused my stunting

sounds like what happen to you on the fastberrys happen to me on the blue dreamatics, what can we bring this all down too?bad growing, bad seed, bad seller? autoflower genetics still in infancy ? i dont know but guess were going to have to work it out.....

For me it was either giving nutrients too early or using the Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil mixed with Happy Frog soil. Too hot of a mix or too high nutrients too early stunted the plants. As the plants get bigger they can handle higher levels of nutrients in my experience but too early and the plant is going to be stunted or start flowering way to early.

5 blackberris from fastbuds really tiny differences between the 5.

Front 2 are twins, back trio just a day or two slower.

I'm a first time grower. Pictures from this morning.
These are all Fastbuds.

These are from other breeders. Autos except the tallest one planted directly in the ground is a photo and nearly six feet high. It is packing on buds but I hope it finishes before the first frost, likely in October.

Fastbuds Mexican Airlines and Pineapple Express that are close to finishing. This is my first time growing this Spring.I don't really know what I am doing other than reading posts here. I have two quart jars and a bunch of smaller jars filled up curing. I'm going to have to buy more jars in the next month.
