Didn't no where else to post this. I noticed today that a second seedling had sprouted from my cube. I thought wow did my dumbass put 2 seeds in there. Then I thought that's not possible, as I tried germing in paper towels 1st this time. Then sliced my cubes and planted the seed with inch long taproot in them. I would have noticed for sure. So my curiosity got the best of me and I examined it to find this.

Has anyone ever experienced this before? I'm going to try and grow these even though the mutation seems quite, well not so healthy.

I've only had it happen once, but I have had two seedlings come out of the same seed. In my case one of them died, but the other lived on!

I had this I pinched the top off the weaker one and the one left was fine.

ok, that'z...trippee :dizzy: but cooool :headbang: ppp

I've seen it a few times.. In photoperiod world, cabin fever used one as a mom and it passed that gene on. So it happens with certain strains of theirs. It can happen a couple of ways. One taproot with two seedlings, two tap roots and one seedling.. Or two tap roots and two seedlings.. They will both grow out fine.

Not like a topped plant in this case. In this case it will grow like two separate plants. I say that because if you look closely at the pic, you'll see that it has 2 seedlings AND two tap roots. And if done carefully, they can be separated and placed into separate pots. If not, some good ole lst should help give them enough space to grow out without shading each other.

I've had it happen before and they both lived. Phenos were different but not too much.

I considered separating them but decided not to. I would rather try and keep them both alive. One is obviously behind and suffering. Fingers crossed
