Hey guys,
So I recently purchased a ac infinity 4in fan and filter for a intake fan, so the tent can be 100% light proof.
I use the t6 cloud line with carbon filter for exhaust and am thinking the 4in can hook up to the same controller as the t6 and having less cfm should create the vacuum?
Mainly wanted intake air filtered since Tent is beside furnace and worried about dust going through the tent air inlets

any thoughts on this?
4x4 Mars hydro tent
Tsw2000
2 plants AF’s in autopot coco

temp high is 25
Humidity 45-55rh
Low temp 18
Low humidity 38(room tent is in is 40rh so when fan turns on it will raise humidity to 40 and shut off.

It states very clearly on AC infinity website that different size models can not be used with the same controller. You have to either use a pair of 4 inch models or a pair 6 inch models together. It has been awhile since I shopped ac infinity, so it might have changed.

They seem to work together same plugs and there’s slight vacuum I’m having, maybe changed?

it compatible my question is this acceptable as I know most people say you need a vacuum pressure, just not show if doing this is “enough”

You need negative pressure or more exhaust than intake. There are actual intake filters that work better than a dual fan system and keep your tent clean

I was looking at the intake boxes on idgc but thought they required a inline fan aswell.
yes cfm in 6in is greater than the 4in so there’s negative pressure, but wanted the intake air filtered since in a basement.

unless you know of a intake filter I-haven’t been able to find?

It definitely changed. That's great imo

This is what I had been looking at. How well does it work for a tent? I'm not sure considering tents are air tight. Imo, a combination of that and a bud wash at harvest or running a fully sealed room are going to be the best ways

Ahh just a cold air intake for a vehicle? The filter of course, attached to the ducting and into the port of the tent without a fan? Defiantly a cheaper route

That particular filter is for hi flow like AC Infinity. A cold air intake is an option but imo you lose the HEPA filtration. The other thing is that you have two fans already so the aforementioned filter is perfect.

If you do it without a second fan I'd try my hardest to seal everything up just so it all runs through the filter.
