ok i thought i would bring anyone who reads this up to speed. I have tried a 325mg tablet of aspirin to a gallon of RO and i have sprayed 1 out of my 4 tomato plants.
I know this isn't tomato network, but i didn't want to try on the only meds i have growing unless i knew it worked.
The tomato i sprayed did not seem to like it the first 2 days, but i continues to spray it every 3 days, and about the 2nd week i noticed that the leaves where getting thicker, along with the stalks. The fruit themselves where all splitting from fast growth, but we had way too much heat and rain early in the season, so that could have added to the splitting and even the ones i didn't spray had split.
As for taste of the tomato, i really didn't notice any taste difference, but i felt that that plant had a little meatier tomato.. i just got done frying some and they where good.
Sooo will monkey try aspirin on his girls? i want to, but i am going to wait till i have a larger grow that way if i kill one with it i'm not out of meds completely.
Feel free to add any experiences that you might have had with this. i will try it again next summer on a hot pepper plant and another type of local tomato and see what happens.
Thank you for helping monkey entertain this idea
peace to all
Monkey
