So this is my first time growing after a long extensive study and research on this beautiful plant. read over 35 books and followed ppl along on there gj and youtube videos... big ups to Dr. Autoflower and GodBodyStyle been following them for a while now. you can have all the knwledge about this but the truth is in the works, show and prove... i succesfully germed rrf, hbd, and sr.... none of my onyx made it, i am using hydroponics dwc general hydroponics flora series for nutes and a 150 watt hps sitting in a 36" x 36" x 63" and have 3 plants in there i am also using some cfl blue to kinda get sort of a full spectrum some what, so its day 44 (week 7) and i guess they are looking so beautiful for my first attempt to grow!!! the hbd is at about 13" as so is the snowryder, but the rrf is at about 27" considering i made the mistake of having them all in small containers i dnt think thats bad, my next round i will be using hydrofarms emilys garden and getting a seperat tent for my gh waterfarm. im thinking about adding a drip to emilys garden as well as adding more pumps and airstones cuz the factory ones suck for what i hear... can any one assist me on what other nutes i should use that are beginer friendly???

Your off to a great start, you done your homework. Some nice strains you picked as well. I would think organics would be best for beginners, but if you wanna use chem the Fox Farm Trio would be a good choice to start with. They make a soil line and a hydro line.

FoxFarm is very beginner friendly.. but remember the big thing with nutes, LESS IS BETTER! Always work your way up. Also if you pick up the Fox Farm trio, pick up the Sledgehammer from the Bushdoctor line as well, I say this because it's GREAT if you mess up or overnute. I'd stick with the Flora line for now until you see a need for more. Don't go crazy, it's easy to shock the plants and stunt them especially in DWC.

thx guys... i will stick to the flora line for now and will be checking out the sledghammer thnx @goodie and jackal... appreciate the feedback

Welcome to the New Growers Forum. So nice to see someone who did the research before starting their grow. Be sure to ask if you have an questions, we're here to help.

Welcome!
I'm new to, and I'm intrested about soil to. I see you write, you want to use hydro. but one post piqued my interest.

I dont find Fox Farm in my country, i replace it with some else soil. but the 2nd part of the sentence.
I read many places autos need and love nutes from the beggining. You mean they need it, just need to pay attention to the correct ratio?

NewHope, you can not feed autos for quite a while, couple weeks, and then add in slowly some nutrients. They don't love high PPM solutions of nutrients. For example, I can put my photo deep chunk crosses at 2300ppm in my system, and when I put my autos at 950ppm, they burned. I stick at 750-780ppm and they're fine. They really like less than photoperiod plants. Thats great, 'cause that means they're a cheap date.

Good to know. ty.
I read many place, they need root strengthen nutrition in the beggining. Its false?

thx muddy, since this is my first time believe me i will have alot more questions but like i said i like to do my research before asking the simple questions that have been answered a million times on here... i mean theres no such thing as a dumb question and its always good to hear alot more of others oppinions then just a couple of ppl... lookin foward to next grows and this harvest... will be posting pics up soon...
