New Grower 1st time grow, growing betty boo auto please i need help

As soon as the sprout and have the first cotyledon leaves(solar panels) then they need light. Not necessarily that 300watter right now, but you could perhaps. What kind of light is it? I would throw that smaller light on their for a bit before blasting them with the 300 watt.

Ok, i am waiting for the 300w lamp to arrive its shown in the pic below. For now i have put them under the small bulb i have also loaded the bulb info is that going to be alright? I will change to the cfl in about 5 or 6 days? What do you think?? These are Betty Boo's btw

Cool, looks good. You can keep the light about 6 inches or so from the seedlings. Especially since that's just a 20 watt. 5-6 sounds good, after they get a set of true leaves or two. Is that new cfl 2700K or 6500K?

I always suggest mixed spectrum, but veg(6500K) is better to start with and bloom(2700K) is better for the later stages. Both will work in either case though, so no worries. :smokebuds:

Thanks for your help The Squid some good advice and i looked at the life-cycle of auto's very useful some good info, 'im new so any info is good. Thanks keep up the good work i will keep you all posted with my newbie project problems, hopefully it will be useful to other new growers facing similar problems.

Hey sorry i need more help again!! Can i get a 2700k light all the way or do i need to get the 6500k as well, as i am growing betty boo's?

Yes, you can use it the entire grow from start to finish. I've read that it will keep your nodes tighter and perhaps flower quicker. You won't get max Veg growth I wouldn't think, but that's ok.

Do you think i should just buy both lights they are like 30 quid each, do you think it will make a difference in my end crop, will i get more buds if i use both lights? Sorry for all the questions, btw i left them under the light as you said last night and today they have already grown at least 1" nd have 4 lil leaves on each of them

Ok I have gone with the veg light all the way, i have read in a few places that the crop difference is very minimum, so am gonna give it a go. I have bought bigger pots to plant my betty boo's and i bought some soil Miracle-Grow Organic Choice, it says on the bag that it feeds for up2 6 weeks. I have also read about things like canna pk13/14 and cannaboost. What should i use and when with these please?? Any help would be great

I went with 6 2700K bulbs and they're doing fine. Supposedly I should lose some size but gain faster flower. What medium are you growing them in? I'm coco and Canna AB only. My Bettys are in link below:

Hey man. Miracle Grow stuff isn't a wise choice IMO. I wouldn't really know how to treat it besides flushing the crap out of it or getting new mix.
