Photoperiod 1st Photoperiod grow, mystery bag seed week 4 of flower.

Hi bud good job on reaching this point! Chuck the boveda pack in the jar same time as the bud, once it's dried out slowly :jointman:

Great job on the training!

I wouldn't be surprised if it is a 'nanner but it's too late for it to screw up your crop. That seeds you started with was most likely born of a 'nanner so stands to reason the plant would throw some too.

Your trichs look like mostly cloudy so it's not likely to produce a lot more bud or trichs so I'd take it down any time now. I usually start cropping when they're 50:50 clear and cloudy. They can go amber as they cure in the jars or it's wait another 4 weeks for amber under an expensive to run light. Even then I'd be lucky to get 10% amber on the plants.

Did you get cuttings from that plant just in case that bagseed was the 'ONE" ? I've missed a few really good ones over the years by not having backups.

Have a great harvest!

:peace:

She will be chopped down within the next 24hrs. Sadly no I didn't get any cuttings from this plant, I originally did take a cut and tried to get it to root but me being inexperienced it unfortunately died so I'm hoping to get a seed and run it again in the future. Her leaves started turning a lovely shade of purple towards the end.

She will be chopped tomorrow, started her 48hrs of darkness the other day and topped her off with some ice halfway through the darkness period today. Never done the ice thing before but in another post I read it's supposed to simulate winter coming, and possibly encourage some more coloring. I watered her with ice water her last feeding before lights out yesterday too, will post harvest pics and trimming process also wet/dry weight. Pretty happy with my 3rd harvest overall, now to get the cure right.

My autoflower grow in my 5x5 is just now hitting week 3 so that should start getting interesting soon, started LST on a couple plants will update that grow frequently as well, it is on my profile.

Chopped the other day, been hanging in my tent drying for now. Got 500ish grams wet, but that's with the stems and all so I'm just hoping for atleast 3oz dry. Alot of the lower buds were looking pretty weird at harvest like all solid white pistils and yellowish leaves. The rest of the bud looks fire except those lowers, I just left it on the plant maybe it'll mature. Plant def Hermed on me so I'm hoping for a few seeds.

:clapper:  Cool grow. I will hang dry mine for about a week then final trim and jar. :jointman:

All the buds dried and jarred up now, I threw a 62% boveda pack in right after I put the bud in the jars. Just gonna burp once a day for a week then decrease the amount of burping after that, hopefully the bovedas will do the job. Got back 3 1/2 Ozs dry weight of dank super frosty nugs, little airy but I'm not worried about it, half of that was prob my fault seeing as they were under 2 blurples for most of there life before I got my QB led. Definitely plan on doing some more photo periods in my 5x5 in the future after I grow my current stash of auto seeds. Just goes to show you what you can get from a random bag seed that sat in the window sill for a couple weeks untouched lol.
