Hello all-

I'm new to AFN, this is my first outdoor grow and my first autoflower grow...
I must admit to feeling a little lost even though I've been riding the bike indoors for 30+ years in all methods.

I am starting with 2 Greencrack/1 GG#4/1 Kush.

From reading AFN, this is my plan..
- Starting them in jiffy pots until roots are ready, then the ladies will be put into ?6-7?g pots (19diaX16tall)
- Using a soil mix of 70% "Canna Coco" 30% perlite, for more water retention than a 50/50 mix, using the Canna 50l bag opposed to the Canna 40l brick.
- Using Canna Coco A/B nutes, Canna Cannazym, Canna Boost and Cal-Mag.
- New TDS/EC meter, probably UBANTE..
- New PH meter, probably Alpera Al209-T PH20 with calibration combo..

Ideas, comments, questions are welcome..

whats the plan for outdoor will you keep them in pots or transfer them to the ground and have you got a green house or just out in nature
:pass:

Thank you @stoney T .. :smiley1: Im planning to keep them in pots, so I can move them if/when it rains.
Thank you @912GreenSkell .. :worship: I appreciate your input on here, you rock.
Location SE King, near E Pierce, in a Csb climate area, a bit warmer and drier than Seattle.
Everybody have a day... If it's good, have three :vibe:

Unfortunately i cannot comment on your medium choice of nutes....havent used either...I am a dirt farmer through and through! One day i should try some coco, but for the last 25+seasons the dirt has treated me just fine!!!! :D

You must get pretty good light on the longest day? I find that is one of the keys to maximizing production with autos, try to time flower to coincide with the longest days of the summer(june 21st) You must get 15 hours of daylight at your lat?

Yes we do, this area tops out at 15hrs 52mins on July 1st...
Currently we are at 14 1/2 hours of daylight with a low of 48f and high of 78f.

You know, I thought I had read that on AFN somewhere and you probably wrote it =)
You are on most all the AFN's must reads, if not all...
Thank you!
I appreciate you and your work on here.

New PH meter, probably Alpera Al209-T PH20
The last ph meter I bought was the Apera PC 60. It has been a very solid performer and it doesn't need calibration as much as other ph meters I've owned.
I expect to see pics of your plants that are as big as Redwoods. Hope that isn't much pressure.

I use Canna A&B for at least one plant. I like it.

15 hr 52 min is great!! You should get very bud solid formation if you have a good full sun spot. Yeah you likely read it in the maximizing outdoor autos guide. ;)

Are you able to start them indoors for 21 days on 24 hours of light? Or during the day in sun and under lights at night?

No problem bud!! I read lots of guys complaining about outdoor autos, but they can be amazing plants if you grow them well!!

It sounds good but I would humbly suggest that you are setting yourself up to miss out on one of the best parts of auto flowers. Especially while growing outside and Autoflower is something that once you have a good seedling you can throw it in a 7 gallon (minimum) pot outside filled with soil and just let it eat! All you would have to do is make sure it had enough water during a dry spell and maybe add a few nutrients or amendments along the way but for the most part an Autoflower can grow in soil with nothing but water kind of like a "fire and forget" missile.
I totally understand wanting to have control over the grow and the nutrients and all of that but man is it nice to just throw a seedling in a pot and Let er Rip
