Hi Guys an Gals,
I have just finished my last grow with the shared res, main difference is the lights.
The plants seemed quite happy sharing root space in a 50 litre space with no real issues.
I am unsure weather or not to use my removable res system. As much as it helps, it does cost vertical space and I am now quite restricted.
Another scrog could be the solution.

I am now going to try an reproduce similar results in a grow tent of 120x60x160

For me this will be a good test of LED's I have had some amazing results under the HPS's and am keen to do a comparison.

Strain: Dutch passion Think Different

Equipment.
1 grow Northern MS006 latest model. probably a 2nd light to be added later
50 litre res tank
2 ceramic air stones. ( fixed to base of tank)
2 silicon diffuser pipes ( fixed to base of tank)
1 600L/hr Hailea air pump 4 x output
125cm filter can + fan

Nutrients
RO water
CalMag
Genesis Micro/Grow/Bloom
Canna Cannazym
AN Big Bud
AN Overdrive (PK boost)

The seeds are currently sleeping between 2 plates and 2 moist paper towels (sat on a warm laptop). When the awakened they with be transferred to Root Riot Cubes. Then lastly into Clay pebbles in the DWC.

I am sure this will be quite a steep learning curve as I gather the feeding can be quite different due to lower temps, hence les plant perspiration.

can Anyone offer me some good starter point? It would be most appreciated

Loads of love,

Me

Good luck with the LED's bro, the only thing I can say is watch out for Cal/Mag deficiencies - they're more common under the LEDs so you may find yourself using more calmag solution than last time :peace:

Nice one Pal23, I should have some arrive on Monday. Would you use it from the start?

On my other grows, I started adding it at about day 30!

They shouldn't need any extra until around the third/fourth week - however if you're using RO water you may want to use the calmag from the start to take your starting ppm to about 350, this will help to stabilise the PH which can be a pain :peace:

Edit: Just remembered, whenever you DO use calmag, make sure it's the first thing you add to the res, it doesn't mix well when added after the other nutes to my knowledge!

Think different seedlings moved to the DWC 50 litre reservoir

Last night the seedlings were showing multiple roots at the bottom of the starter cubes so I moved then into the net pots with clay pebbles that were pre soaked in a solution on 5.8 ph.

this one seemed to suffer a tiny bit of nutrient burn on its 1st leaves. Not that worried, It has pulled through fine i think.
