Indoor 1st grow not sure so far Short Riders

Thanks for any advice in advance. I have two Nirvana Short Riders both 7days old. I germinated both in paper towels btwn plates then placed onto pots.

Not sure what they're supposed to look like at 7 days, but wondering why the leaves are yellow-green and not solid green??? Is it the strain or a nutrient deficiency or too much nutrients? I used Espoma Organic Start to help root development along with a bit of epsom salts & aloe vera. I leave them outside during the day then under lights for a total of 16 hours daily.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They should be fine but hold off on anymore nutes for awhile because there are enough in the soil for at least three weeks or so.Just water lightly with plain water and watch the new growth and see how they react.BTW were you in Nam in 72 and what branch of service were you in.I was there In 68 as a SP/4 11b20 but I served most of my time in a helicopter Co,near Cam Ran bay.

Thanks for your help and thank you for your service! I served two tours in 72 &73 in the Navy. I felt like I really didn't do much over there, just a bomb handler. Only saw action a few times.

I'll keep off nutes for 3 weeks and see how it goes. I used the Starter fert assuming the seedlings needed it right away.
