New Grower 1ST GROW HW MM- recir. DWC / LED in progess

:tiphat:Although this grow is in progress, I am starting this with seedlings transplanted to pots.

SET UP:

3- 3 1/2 gallon pots with quick release 1/2" intakes and 1" returns with Hydro Farms air fed drip rings

1- Ostberg 4" inline fan with Phresh filter (added thermostat)

1- 8-10 gallon reservoir w/ larger feed reservoir and ecoplus 396 gph pump.

3- U.S /China made Area 51 W100's (36)-5 watt Cree warm white 3750K switchable 50/100 actual power consumption/draw each
3- China made 3 watt LED UFO's Wattage:225w(75x3w ) Color Ratio 630nm 660nm 610nm 460nm 430nm 740nm . Actual power consumption/draw 145-150watts each

1 Hydro Farm 1/10 hp water cooler
1 De Humidifier

. Grow stones for net pots
. General Hydroponics trio/ Kool Bloom / cal mag/ and Botanicare Liquid Karma
. G H PH down powder with buffering
. R/O water (and also well water. good low ppm h20 water, but high ph)
. Orca grow film

Hi all, welcome to my ATTIC grow. Yes it gets HOT up here (more on that later) and yes I hit my head all the time:slaps:
Start with a few pics.

Ok.. 4 out of 5 seeds sprouted. (I think I had them too wet in the rapid rooters)Next time less water. They also were wet after going into the pots because I should have limited how long the drip rings were turned on and off.

The 4th seed was planted in grow stones with perlite with a drip ring, because I only have 3 pots. Here is around day 16. A little behind from mistakes

#1 is looking scraggly
#2 looks small
#3 looks good. Started some LST on her

The 4th in the drip pot is doing OK for being moved a couple times.


PPM between 300- 400 but seems too high

OK GONE! In the trash. Well, F! So much for a bumper crop:Aw shucks:

In all fairness to Heavy Weight, There has been multiple mistakes so far in this grow.
Including :
Transplant stress
Over watering
High temps ( one time got to 94, when I left town for a couple days
Nute burn and ( cal/mag deficiency ? )
Probably some I don't know

But I will say, I observed in all three growth stoppage and decline before they hermied.

Baby, It's all on you now. A real bummer. Only one plant in my 3 pot system. At this rate I'll be starting a new grow soon,
but I can't start 2 more at this time.( a disadvantage of connected hydro )

Blue has moved this for me to the New G forum. (Thanks Blue) Been almost a week since I posted ,but I will take this (grow) up to today as soon as I post this, as I could really use some advice and comments from any and all. Thanks:tiphat:

View attachment 437735 View attachment 437742 Day 46. Decided to move it to the center pot to give her more room. This being recirc. hydro I couldn't move the pot, so I had to pull her out.:no: (needless to say...I don't think she even noticed. Didn't stress at all !!!
The roots were growing into the reservoir from the 1 inch return line and wondering if it would plug ??? Pulled it up and the roots were totally molded to the pot, but NICE and WHITE At this point I have stopped putting it back under the net, as I figure it has started flowering and I might stress it. I really couldn't get the net back after I moved it.
This girl starting shooting up fast, so now I worried about running out of height. (but I can't complain) Looking good, and soooo happy my Midget is doing what she is supposed to.
Since I have only one plant left, if figured I would throw all the light at her I have. I guess this will lower my gpw considerably.

View attachment 437741Have some of these in my house every year. They seemed to like hanging out in the grow area, although several met their demise in the light fans, or the sticky hanging fly paper.
Looks like she's sampling some juice? As the new growth got stickier, they only moved around on the fan leaves and stems.

Day 48. Side lights are angled in and added 4 cfl s (23 watters) to get some lower buds. So up to about 835 output watts now.
Total LED hog. The White light LED s and the red/blue /white ufo s make for some pretty pics. though.

Next post later today I will bring it up to today which will be Day 60.
