One of the biggest secrets to large autos is a polished smooth start. Slow them down in any way the first couple weeks, and they fall well shy of their full potential.
Oh also @Machamillion the kind of soil I am using is 1 my local hydro store makes themself and it’s their biologic kind so is basically a living organic soil. Pretty sure it has all the stuff in it a usual recipe calls for but having only 2 plants it wasn’t feasible for me to try to make my own.
They r definitely likening it though! The lil leaves were looking yellow when I transplanted em but 10 hrs later can already see them turning actual green now
Since I can’t feed my plants 8.0 ph water should I go to the creek up the street and try to collect some rain water and check it before I water plants? Have Nectar for the Gods nutes on their way and it has ph up n down in their. Would have had today but was damaged during shipping so was sent back by UPS.

I did and the ph on it is still 7.1. Got a whole gallon and testing ph pen it’s on the money when I put it in the calibration fluid. Glad I returned my wireless thermometer since the one they sold me had no humidity on it! Was showing my closet with fan going and ac in house and was saying it was 78. New one shows properly cuz it reads 73 n humidity is 51%
Ok I am pretty sure I know the answer but the people on some forums that say “cut the net off the jiffy pot” when you transplant are either hallucinating or they haven’t had it crumble off their plant yet during transplant!
You do just stick the jiffy pot net and all right into the pot it’s being transplanted to correct??
Thanks for the pointer
For future starts, try removing netting, top and bottom, before hydrating with about an ounce of ph'd worm tea, germinate, then transplant to final pot day after sprout. Another tip, if pellet is too wet, place on paper towell to wick off. I try to stay 10 grams under baseline weight. No crumbling. Texan here, but no rebel.
Thanks buddy! Not really a rebel except saying F the police and growing my own! Tx sucks ass in that department!!
Posted something in my grow journal but instead of getting a expensive humidifier & dehumidifier combo or 1 of either with digital readout and all that nonsense should I just get like an inkbird controller for the 2 and a basic cheap humidifier and dehumidifier to control grow tent??
It has been pretty constant between 35-40%ish in my closet where they are started
Thanks @Quirk cuz the others that told me were saying to cut net off after it was standing up but by then both roots were going thru the nets! That didn’t seem like a smart choice for my 1st grow.
Also anyone that pops in should my cfl’s be closer or good where they are??
